    My Trip Report

We got back today. We had a great time and even came home with some money! LOL We didn't spend all that we took and dh won about $250.

We stayed at Planet Hollywood. The first night they had us right next to the elevator and it kept me up most of the night. UGH So, the next morning we asked to be moved and they moved us with no problem.

We got the bus pass and used it a lot. Well worth it!

We prepaid for the 2 way shuttle to and from airport. We will not do that again. Going to the room was no problem coming back was! Our flight was at 7:35am but we had to catch the shuttle at 4:10am! By the time we got all checked in, it was 5:10 so we had lots of time to sit and wait! Next time we will just take a taxi.

I really liked the downtown area the best. If we go back we will probably stay downtown.

We got the $34.99 all day buffet at PH. We won't do that again either. We had breakfast with no problem because we got there so early 7:30 in the morning. Had lunch there with a short wait. We noticed a long line the night before at supper and after talking to some people decided not to wait in the line. 3 hours long!! So, we went to the flamingo. Not as good but was ok and we didn't even have to wait in line since we were prepaid. We really weren't even hungry but wanted to get our moneys worth. LOL The next day we had Earls for breakfast $15 and Nathans hot dogs and fries and a fried twinkie (so freaking good) in one of the casinos in old downtown for $15 didn't have supper. So, really the buffet was too much for us.

I was disappointed with the waitress's in PH they wouldn't hardly come around. And we pretty much found the same thing at the other casinos on the strip. But, downtown we had no problem with them coming around.

All in all a great trip!

The first room was a little nicer but the shower was terrible. The bathrooms are really big. Carpet not the best. Bring some shoes to keep on your feet. But, bed was comfortable, the pillows are feather or something too flat for me but you get 2 each.

Oh, I bought crocks because I kept hearing how much you walk. I think crocks are ugly, but am SO glad I had them. I wore them the whole time.

We had a nice room at PHo in December Thor, Bellagio fountainview, Eiffel Tower, Paris balloon. The room we had double booked in April (we didn't actually stay in it as we were also comped at Palazzo but took it for freeplay, show tickets, etc) wasn't as nice, it had a lovely view of a wall. When we actually stayed in the room in December, I requested fountainview and was given it, no problem. In April because we weren't using the room, I made no special requests, so I'd suggest making a request (they won't take the $20 tip....I tried in December after we were given the stripview)...it never hurts to ask! Both our rooms were clean, no problem with the carpet....the rooms are a little dark (lighting), but bathroom is nice and bright.

We also had a fountain view with both rooms. Don't be discourage. Sorry if I made it sound bad. LOL It wasn't bad, it was clean. They have jets in the tubs can't think of what it is called. And yes the rooms were a little dark. You won't be in your room much any way! Have fun! I hope you win lots of money!!
