    My Trip Report

Well we just got back from our first trip to LV on Friday we went Sun-Thurs. It was great so much to see! You can't possibly see it all in one trip! [IMG] We stayed at Harrah's great location. Rooms were ok...clean...polite service...good food [IMG] We had a great veiw of the strip we could see the volcano at mirage perfect. I think the time we'll stay at Luxor I thought that that was the most unique place. Did the buffets at Harrah's, Monte Carlo and Ceaser's. Had dinner at The Range that 1st night [IMG] [IMG] FABULOUS!! Also dined at Mikado, Benihana, and The Luxor Steakhouse.... I feel like I gained 20 lbs at least. We also went to The Blue Man Group it was so highly recommended  it left me confused, not quite sure if the original creator was on some serious acid or just really into light and sound. It was good, but a bit $$high$$ for what I saw. Just maybe I didnt get it I dont know. Micheal Jackson was actually staying at the Venetian. Didnt see him personally but on the plane home that couple next to me did. Kinda cool. Speaking of Venetian, beautiful... and that wax museam is incredible!!That is definitly a must see. Thought Bellagio was nice but every seemed so unfriendly and too uptight there. We did great at the table there though. But you know how it goes...you end up leaving it somewhere else anyway [IMG] I saw enough porn cards on street to make a billboard  what's up with all that anyway. Well it was a great time and it's definetly a return trip. We've already talked about a trip #2 in January. Thanks to everyone for all the advice post trip.

Datransport,Welcome back!I'm glad that you had a great time. We all know how that feels when you are barely home from one trip and planning another as soon as you can. Would you please tell me what you had at Mikado's in the Mirage? I would like to go there next time. Was it terribly expensive or reasonable? Thanks, Michele

Mikado's was pretty reasonably priced for everything that is included plus some cocktails. I had the sirloin and lobster tail-- [IMG] All the meals come with soup, salad, rice, vegetables and even ice cream. It was great! There is also a Benihana in the Hilton there which is the same type of place, but it has much better atmosphere--waterfalls, full lounge, kind of tropical looking its interesting. I definitely recommend them both highly.

It's is always great to read about someone's first trip to LV.

Can I assume you are looking at plane fare already for your next trip? [IMG]
