    My Trip Report

    No, literally.

    Well, figuratively as well...

The gambling was among the worst I've seen in a long time, but I had to play since I had been comped my rooms upfront and one of them was even through a host. I gave them as much play as I could anyway, and came home having gone through my bankroll (and some of John's).

And the final insult - when I unpacked last night I realized my favorite top was missing. I was going to wear it home yesterday, but didn't see it in my suitcase so I figured when I did some last minute re-packing at home I must have taken it out and not brought it. Nope... it's not at home either. So I lost my shirt, twice. That hurts.

    Oh no!

Sorry you lost so much. :(

And the shirt thing is creepy. Maybe someone that searches bags at the airport liked it?

I didn't check my bag so no one else ever had possession of it.

Oh no! Sorry about both kinds of shirt losing, but I trust that you had a good time anyway.

John's completely unpacked; he doesn't have it. I've called the lost & found of both hotels we stayed at. NY-NY said they didn't have it. I had to leave a message at Palazzo and haven't heard back from them.

Of course other than sucky gambling and lost apparel, it was a great time. I saw my friends, outlasted John in the poker tournament (again), wasn't sick (other than I think I broke my liver on Thursday night), and the weather was mostly good!

I lost my shirt at Paris once - my favorite "lucky" t-shirt that I took to Vegas to sleep in, I left on the bed in the morning and after housekeeping came it was gone. I called housekeeping, my host everyone, lost and found, begged at the front desk.... but they never found it - lost amidst tons of sheets no doubt (tho they didn't change the linens on my bed so I never figured out how they took my shirt!).

Anyway, I feel your pain. And it was an unlucky trip for me that time too.

I bought my son a "If mommy won't grandma will" shirt, then went to a burger place downtown, left it there.

    I think that counts.

I hate losing trips especially when you know you 'have' to play based on what you've been receiving and every dollar in seems to disappear with no play. Sorry to hear it was a bad gambling trip.
