LOL unfortunately he's the only celebrity that I've seen in Vegas. We must have seen him during same trip in May 2008. But I saw him signing autographs at the Miracle Mile Shops. Hopefully on my next trip I'll see someone a little more famous lol

Does spotting Pete Rose trying to sell autographs in the mall count?

on our trip for spring break 2008, we were at the golden nugget and my wife was in the restroom upstairs. as i was standing and waiting for her, willie nelson came up to me and said "denton, tx"....i was wearing my university of north texas shirt, so of course i said, "hell ya willie"!!!!! we shook hands and he was off down the escalator....:beer::beer:

now for the disclaimer....my wife swears that i was smoking crack or something because i couldn't have seen him there....but i did!

That's my only celebrity encounter too. I'm saying "no", it doesn't count. Petey is there all too often.

Well I for one believe you and you can tell your wife I said so; I've seen Willie Nelson in Vegas 3 times and each and every time he was happy and shaking hands. I've seen lots of celebrities in Vegas in the 27 years I've been going.

That is my only one as well. It stinks that it doesn't count, but I agree that with as often as he is there, seeing him is not that unique.

I was going to ask the same thing....While it doesnt count, I thought it was really depressing seeing him there. He kept his head down so nobody could get a free pic of him, and just typed stuff on his palm treo.

See kids, this is what happens when you start to gamble!!!!:poke::poke::poke:

On our last trip i saw Wanda Sykes as we waited for the free show inside the forum shops. We were sitting on a bench and she and her family walked past me. I could have been someone else but i am almost 100% sure it was her.
I also spotted Carrot Top taking orders at the outside cafe in front of Paris. I was on the duce at the time and have no idea if he was filming something or not...LOL

The post about PH reminded me that I've seen both Sylvester Stallone and the Rock hanging out there. (The latter was on site filming a movie.) Oh, wait, the question was about celebrities. Never mind.

My wife and I were at the buffet at Paris with another couple during the campaigning prior to the last election. We noticed some commotion going on outside in the walkway between Paris and Bally's. We happened to be getting up to leave, but were stopped by Secret Service as we were trying to leave. They were bringing in Bill & Chelsea Clinton through the exit. He shook our hands as we walked by and my wife took several close up photos.

After we saw him, we went out up to our room to change and make a couple of telephone calls. While we were waiting for another couple, Secret Service was coming by again to take the Clinton's back out. I was wearing a UGA shirt and hat. One of Clinton's Secret Service guys said "Go Dawgs". Clinton overheard this, laughed and came over to shake my head again.

On another trip I saw Pamela Anderson, but only briefly. Most recently, I saw James Denton who plays Mike Delfino on Desperate Housewives.

In January 2006 my husband and I saw Howie Mandel's show at MGM. Then 2 nights later we were eating dinner at the "Grand Wok" restaurant and him, his wife, the opening act from his show and 3 or 4 other people were eating 2 tables over from us. I had a direct view of Howie and wanted so bad to go over and get a picture but I didn't want to make him mad since they were all there trying to have a nice dinner together. lol

Saw Howie Mandel at MGM walking through the casino and he stopped and said hello and accepted my compliments (?10/2005?). It was prior to Deal or No Deal so my daughter didn't get excited when I told her - she had never heard of him. When DoND came on, then she was impressed, LOL.

Have seen Pete Rose more times than I care to remember. Keep hoping someone else will be in there when I go through. I think someone actually was once but I was so surprised it WASN'T Pete that I didn't take note of who it was!

DS takes his claim to fame in being about 5 feet away from P'Diddy who was filming outside Planet Ho. They had a good chunk of LVB blocked off for this for nearly all morning. He also has one mark in the 'Pete Rose' column too, LOL.

Anyone else I probably wouldn't have even noticed. I have a tendency not to notice people unless they are doing something unusual.

I was at Excalibur, back in what must have been like april 2006 or something, the last time we stayed there, and we went up in the elevator to the food court level and when it opened up there was Louie Anderson. He looked sick as a dog but he took pics with all of us and then he hit on my mom and left. lol

I used to work at the Lake Tahoe Harrah's many years ago. I am not sure if you remember the group "The Dave Clark Five" but I got into an employee elevator and there they were - in costume (they wore the old English powdered wig outfits). We all rode in silence but one of them noticed I was trying not to smile and said, "what mate, you don't like to dress up for a night about town?" We all roared with laughter.

Another time I was setting up a party in David Soul's room and he came in and talked with me for quite a while. I was very impressed by how nice of a guy he was.

I was in the Mirage with my daughter when I Bill Clinton came striding through, just a few feet from where I was standing. He was holding a highball and smiling and waving at everyone.
