    It's been awhile...

So many new people on the board, I thought I would resurrect this thread from the dead. How did you choose your username?

My favorite beach to surf at is San Onofre State Park. It's my home. My dad learned to surf there when he was in the Marines stationed at Camp Pendleton, back when it was a private beach belonging to the marines before Nixon turned it over to the State. So I guess you could say I've been going there even before I was born.

I was only two when it happened, but my folks tell me how they flipped off Nixon's helicopter as he flew over the beach on his way to the Western Whitehouse. I wish I could have seen that! Heh....

All of Shock's stories end with women's underwear.

My name is Mochiizee, because when I ran the theater in Samoa we sold mochi crunch by the gross. Literally, I sold 5 times as much mochi as any other theater in the company. I'm cheesey so I ended it with the (izee). Mo Cheesey.

Thanks for reviving this thread, as I had somehow missed it when I first joined.

The mascot of my college alma mater: sagehen (a small desert grouse that plays dead when approached; yes, we were a fearsome college)
The mascot of my grad school alma mater: fightin' blue hen

Apparently, I'm all about fowl (though, the college where I teach root for the bears -- much more fearsome).

    1. I'll never forget the day I asked you what beach you were on in a pic of you in the water you had up awhile back. . .being as we are from the same great SD.

2.Glad you brought this thread back. . .how did I miss this??? Anyhoo. . .

My name is Aimee and I am I die hard Charger fan (hence the 'Bolt'). I've had a couple names during my time here (Scott, you know I love you!) But this one will stick. I don't know if this is part of it but. . .the 'Wing Queen' underneath my name is because I am a manager at Hooters (again Scott I love you! You put up with my changes all the time.:nworthy:)

My boyfriend always goes by TheMike and since I joined this forum because he told me to (so we could try to win more trips) I decided to go with TheAshley so that we could match. Mostly because that annoys both of us which makes it funny

What a great thread, have really enjoyed reading it. Mine is not to creative either. When I had to come up with my 1st screename (a long time ago) I didn't want to use my real name, so tried to think of what I really like. At that time (and it hasn't changed) I am a huge fan of Michael Bolton. Not only is Passion the name of his production company...but it states my feelings for him as well. I use it for all of my screenames...less to keep track of.

Mines not that hard to figure out. I have Shih tzu and they are my kids since all the human ones are on their own. If I could take them to vegas I would. As a career I am a Vet.Tech. and I am told I have small dog karma.

This thread is very interesting thanks for bringing it back.

Years ago I had a pair of black work pants that were labeled "SLACKTION!"

Then in 2005 when I started posting my poorly done comic strips online I used a varation of that name on a whim (Slacktion Comics!). I haven't posted any new comics in forever though...

    An example:

My real name is Tim Taylor and "Tool man" was too cheesy or too much like a porn name. So sometimes I use this name on the net. Its Raider Fan obvious huge Raider fan and 70 the year I was born. Easy to remember never really gave much thought to the name as some are real creative.
Although I do use Papageorgio aka Rusty Griswold as my pic!

You did call me a Smart-ass now that I remember correctly. . .probably one of the reasons I think you're great Mr. Larry.
Funny with the orange shorts. . .everytime I do inventory Teddy always asks me if an extra pair came home with me:nono:. You boys are sooooooo predictable.
