I’ve got a Corner Studio booked at Circa in a couple of weeks. I’ve requested a room not directly facing FSE, and the pool, to alleviate some of the late night noise from the bands on Fremont St. and any noise from the pool. But then I got to thinking it might be nice to have a Corner Studio that has a pool view.

Wondering about two things: What time do the live bands stop playing on Fremont St.? Also, any late night noise from the pool area? I’m fine if everything is relatively quiet by 2:00 AM. But, if things are still in full swing until 3-4 AM I’ll probably want to keep my current request in place. FWIW, I’ll be checking in on a Monday and departing on a Friday, no weekend nights.

Thanks gang, anything you can advise me on is much appreciated…:clap::clap:

The bands stop playing at 1 AM or 2 AM.
I am currently staying in a Strip facing room on a high floor close to Main Street.
The noise has not been nearly as bad as I expected.
I think the higher floor makes a difference.
I can hear a little bit of bass but not disturbing me.

We had a corner suite at The D facing the FSE but lower floor. The sound was unbelievably loud and I’m not a sour puss.

I found it annoying. If you are a heavy sleeper / pass out person you should be fine. It won't be loud, but you will hear the bass well into the night. If you get easily annoyed ask for a room on the other side.

for me, the pool sound issue is more about when I want to wake up than go to sleep,
if I'm going to be going to sleep at sun-up after a degen all-nighter, whenever the morning pool bass kicks in, it is the bane of my existence. Mostly untz-untz basslines that sound like the same song on repeat and reverberate into that corner room bed like a subwoofer is underneath it.

JMHO, YMMV, otherwise the pool view, and especially the corner, can be pretty entertaining.
    Great "Bro Soup" views.

*term I coined for huge bunches of pale dudes getting sunburnt and turnt in the pool.

also once had a different, better layout IIRC in a mountain view corner room.
in general, the diffidence in volumes in all rooms on that side vs. pool side is huge, a really chill mountain view also.

Stayed at Circa a couple times.

Opening night- Dec 29-30 (I mention this in case the dates are important to the band timing) king room on the 21st floor facing Fremont. Music from the bands went till 2-3am, and could hear it well enough to make out the songs. Bass track from the pool till about 4a. But the worst (for me) was the light intrusion from the video board. Even with the shades drawn there was so much light in the room it was hard for me to sleep. If you like it dark (I really do) then stay on the other side. Pro tip - one can use the clips from hangers in the closet to clip the blinds closed!

Next stay purposely chose the north facing room. Quiet and dark. I did hear a train once, but that's about it.

Then got a corner king on the north west corner.(not facing the screen, end furthest from the Plaza), good compromise. Some noise from the Fremont stage right below (the stage between Circa and Binions) but not nearly as bad as the south facing room, and seemed to be done by 1a, so not nearly as noticeable. This is my go-to room when I stay at Circa.

When I'm by myself I usually stay in a Gate suite. Always quiet, quick to get to the room, etc. When I have a bigger group I usually get a D suite for the space to gather, pre-drink and plan the evening. When it's just my wife and me, I like the Circa corner described above.

    Hope this helps!

    Great stuff everyone…Thanks!! :clap::clap::clap:

After all the informative responses I’m pretty sure I’ll keep my request for the north facing view, on the quiet side. Still, keep the posts coming - I always value savvy advice & opinions in these kind of threads.

If you want to sleep early, go with the north facing room.
In the summer months, the sound from FSE not going to stop before 2am weekdays, 3am weekends.

I believe the pool opens at 8a for guests and 9a for everyone else.

I stayed in a Stadium Swim View Corner Studio last year, staying again (requested specifically that room type and view through my host) in October.

I was not bothered by any noises when sleeping. I don’t go to bed extremely late but also not extremely early. I’d say 10-11 pm? And sleep through 7-8 am.

I wasn’t even bothered by any noise when taking an afternoon nap - but there was some bass in the room.

To me, it added ‘energy’ to the room. I also fell in love with their in room tablets with dedicated channels - taking it with my in the bathroom and continuing the ooontz - ooontz there :D

Sounds like a high floor room somewhat mitigates any noise? I'm usually a late nighter in Vegas (3am) and sleep-iner (10am).

    That was my experience exactly.
I was on a high floor not centered over Circa Swim and it was not bad at all.

Just got back from staying on 18th floor, dead center (1825) facing Stadium Swim. Was worried about noise given we previously stayed in a mountain view. However, was amazed how it was a big nothing burger. Noise was not a problem. Yes, you can hear the bass a bit from the pool…it kicks in at about 7:45AM. Time we went to bed every night (1AM), non-existent. Also, we typically keep the AC fan on low anyhow, which provided more than enough ambient noise to cover the bass. It’s possible we were low enough not to hear Fremont, but we never had any noise from Fremont. We absolutely loved it. I don’t think I turned the TV on in the room once. Will request the same floor and stadium view again in the future.

They do leave the screens on all night…but the blinds take care of that.

Thanks for all the responses gang.:clap::clap:

Based on everything I’ve read in your posts I’m leaning towards a view of the pool and Fremont if I can get a high floor; if not, I’ll just go with a north facing view.

I am booked for 2 nights at the end of June and I will ask for Fremont facing high floor, it worked out just fine last time.
I was kind of underwhelmed with the room overall, I will say that the shower head kind of surprised me .
It was like standing under Niagara Falls.
I know they recycle / reclaim water or whatever but I did not realize any hotel casino would let you have that much water!
