Guess who’s going to be on WOF!

Just got my promo photo and am allowed to share my air date (January 20) but nothing else. Ironically, though a lifelong wheel fan (I grew up watching it with my grandma when I was little), I generally do not play the WOF slots in Vegas haha. This has been a bucket list item for awhile now and it was a fun experience (though a LONG day - they tape six shows a day and you are there for almost 12 hours!).

 

Can you give me the solution to one of the puzzles so I can bet my wife that I can solve it before her?

 

I don't regularly watch, but will attempt to catch your episode. I'm sure the experience was fun. Fingers crossed you won.

I thought this was just a slot machine. When did they turn it into a real show?

 

They did a similar thing with Willy Wonka!

 

Will my wife and I be screaming at the TV because you bought a vowel on your second spin (like everybody does)? And then you bought another, and another, and set it up for the next player after spinning BR or Lose a turn?

We got to watch a taping of the show, in the audience, some years ago at Venetian and it was so much fun!

Wish I could be we had to listen to an hour long brief by a lawyer and then sign an NDA so sadly cannot.

Haha they tell you repeatedly throughout the day (like literally even in between rounds/commercial breaks) to buy a vowel. They really really want you to buy those vowels!!

 

Haha I just screen shot it and blocked it out. I don’t put photos on my TR’s but was so excited about this wanted to tell everyone. Everyone will know my name after the show anyway but somehow this makes me feel better.

@Christina6001 I am still trying to figure out how to record this. I am such a luddite! Will also be back in Vegas Feb 14-20. Would love to get together if you are around!

@azlefty will def do a report later. It was a super fun experience and I encourage any one with interest to try out. The production crew was fabulous and it was fun to meet so many people with such a strong similar interest in a very particular thing. Reminded me of this board actually!
