I need to do laundry tomorrow. Anybody recommend anywhere?

I have transportation and happy to travel, just need them to be open at 9am :)

There's a thread about this somewhere, but for pickup/delivery, I generally use Everkleen, though there are other options and you need to call to make sure that they service whatever location you'll be at. They do either same-day or next-day service, and though I use them primarily for dry cleaning, they do laundry as well. They do a good job, though sometimes break suit buttons.

For laundromats, the only one I've been to, exactly once, a number of years ago, was Wizard of Suds near the Palms. It's 24/7, which is extremely common for Vegas, so there are a ton of options for this as well. I've never been to any of these places in the dead of night, so I can't speak to whether there are any safety concerns, but at 9am pretty much anywhere should be absolutely fine.

I think I once went to Flamingo Fluff & Fold. I can't really recommend any coin laundry over any other; they are mostly adequate and utilitarian and have machines available. That one has the benefits of a Dotty's and an Ethiopian restaurant and Hookah bar in the same strip center, which might give you something to do while waiting for your laundry.

I do my laundry in the sink but if you must use a laundromat, my favorite is the Circus Circus KOA. I love sitting out there and watching all the RVs come and go. Bonus, there are lots of dogs to play with.

I just did laundry at Stadium Salon, it was kinda fun. Video poker, beer, and laundry at the same time.

Near there is a new laundry mat near the Walmart. That is new and clean, but kinda boring.

My very first post on this forum nearly 20 years ago (back when it was 'Travel 2 Vegas') was on the subject of Laundromats so I feel duty bound to reply.

I have used the services of many of the laundries in town in that time, mostly for a drop-off/pick-up service.

The place I've used the most has been the '24 hour Laundromat' on Maryland Parkway across from the Boulevard Mall. You will often see references to this being a dodgy part of town but the laundromat have always been fine for me if you are turning up in a car.

There is another place with a similar name nearby on 'Twain' which I used on my last trip. That was a lot more sketchy. They share their strip mall with a dispensary and there were several groups of people just loitering in the car park smoking their purchases. It seemed less than ideal in broad daylight, definitely not somewhere you'd want to be late a night.

I drop mine at the Flamingo Fluff and Fold. Then, go eat or gamble and comeback when they text it’s ready.

I dropped it at Fluff n Fold during a long trip where we had a rental car. Very simple process, but still a bit of a drag to head out there just to run an errand.

I also did a load in the Jockey Club when staying at Cosmo and my wife was enjoying the spa. Figured I was kinda stuck in place and not wanting to lose much money so might as well do it then. That was a pain in the ass going back and forth from the casino floor, and I would not repeat.

I ended up using this place.

I can understand why people would consider the area sketchy but I was comfortable enough at 9am in the morning to be sitting on the sidewalk outside smoking a cigarette, and I'm a skinny ass 140lb soaking wet white guy.

Would recommend. Lots of machines with different weight limits - think the largest machines took 77lbs worth of clothes. Who has 77lbs worth of clothes?! Pretty cheap as well - small machines were $2 a wash, medium machines $4 a wash, and dryer was a quarter for 7 minutes at any heat level. Also sold single use laundry powder for a buck.

There are definitely people on this board who pack 77lbs of clothes on their trips to Vegas.

Years ago I've used the hotel's laundry service, but not recently. It was spendy, but I expensed it out.

In other locations I've used local wash-n-fold places. I can't remember ever doing the do-it-yerself laundromat when on vacation or on business.

The most I've ever done is washed out some unmentionables and washed out a spot in the basin in the room on occasion.

Now years (decades?) ago I did have a dress dry cleaned at a place on DI, but that was the rare occasion.

There is a nice laundromat down East Flamingo called Zapatas. Put my laundry in and went next door to a great pizza place. In the strip mall is also a supermarket. Nice and clean, nice people

I use the Laundromat on Arville across from the Palms. The entire process takes an hour. Some interesting people in there at times but I've never had an issue. The biggest is making sure you find a working dryer. I've actually reattached the rubber seal on one but there are so many machines and not an issue. The bathroom has a code to keep the ********* out. I bring a pod from home but if you need detergent, the guy at the attached store has a big vat of powdered soap he will give you a scoop free.

I would think that "boring" is a selling point for a Las Vegas laundromat.

i came there to find out if there was VP or slots in laundromats in Vegas, and i am not leaving disappointed.

would be great if they were all coin operated.

I have only used a Laundromat once in all my times to LV, and it was across from the Palms. A morning uber ride there and back to Planet Hollywood (where we were staying) was very easy.
