I'm not impressed with Amphora. Amphora vs LL - Amphora wins. Amphora vs 7 Stars Lounge - 7 Stars Lounge wins.
Also, I don't believe Amphora gives you what they say they have. Multiple times I ordered something and what I got was not that and they insisted it was. I do like the mini Hagen Daz, but after going twice and getting the wrong drinks plus the food isn't really all that except maybe 2 things and only so much low grade Prime Rib one can eat. I'll keep my comp points for other things.

Though, I will say if CET keeps effing with things and annoying me that next year might be my year to burn them for comps and eat in their lounges with no play for a year.

Correction to my previous statements. The walled off area near the bar on first floor is not the new location for HK or Starbucks. Seems they walled it all off just to put in new carpet???

have they taken down those walls yet? they walled off all the tables on that side. And yes, that isn't where starbucks or HK is going. They just put advertising for both on wall. I think a dealer told me that HK was going in that back corner behind the craps tables, but don't quote me on that

Which walls is the question. The ones that covered the bar and smoking slots area is down. There are curtains now on the table side from the escalator to the high limit slots area.

cool. Yeah, I was talking about the wall between the escalators and the tables on that side. Last time I was there (about two weeks ago), the walls the covered the bars and smoking area was down. Unfortunately, the bubble craps was gone too. You say curtains are up now. Are the tables back open on that side?

Not as of this weekend. Might be soon was just black curtains and you could see into the area. No tables were up yet though.

I stopped in Caesars AC today while visiting Cape May for vacation and all of the tables near the boardwalk entrance are, quite literally, gone. When I asked the deal, several staff members said they’re renovating, however, they’re split on either Caesars removing them for good from that location OR moving the craps tables into that location and where the craps currently are, near the escalators, making that area become space for all/only slots.

Granted, the people who told me this were two security guards, one of Caesars “clean team” and a dealer, but one of those two scenarios is likely happening.

Nothing new about the renovation but the diamond lounge is permanently closed. Honestly Atlantic City casinos are a dump unless it’s hard rock or ocean

Not one for hyperbole, are you? Just stop. So the 7 other casinos are a dump? Borgata? Harrah’s? Tropicana?

    Get on your bike.

Agree entirely, what an asinine statement to say to even imply Borgata or Tropicana AC casinos are a dump. That sort of idiot commentary does nothing to help this thread, nor the forum for that matter. The Borgata is akin to many casinos you would see on the Vegas strip, and in some respects, better than many of them.

And whilst Caesars may not be a Vegas casino, I’ve never had a bad time there.

They might do some shuffling around, but the other sections that got the same treatment in the name of 'renovations' just got new carpeting. Supposedly, High Limit will be getting redone at some point.

That makes sense. The table games to the right once you get down the escalator now have these televisions there, which I had never seen prior. Not a major update, but I suppose adding some electronics makes it more Vegasy lol. Either way, I enjoy gambling there and, whilst it was Wednesday, $15 3:2 blackjack all day wasn't a bad thing, even if drink service started a bit slow.

And you're right about the carpeting, several people told me and I wouldn't have even noticed otherwise.

Didn't see anything new in the other areas that already got renovated. The tables near the escalator were still blocked off my last trip. Each section they blocked off took over a month to finish. I was told they are redoing some of the wiring/electrical so the lower level can go on the BOSS system too, it was still on Total Touch last time and I prefer that system. Other than BOSS just being annoying, it takes up screen real estate on the slots and when when your drink gets delivered its like half the damned screen.

Those tables are back open again, as of last weekend. Like others have said, it's really just new carpet. It doesn't seem brighter over there, but maybe that's from the lights bouncing off of clean carpet

This is correct. Other than the new TVs directly above the table games, and the new carpet which I didn't even notice until people pointed it out to me, I saw no discernible change. I only went to Caesars when I hit AC yesterday so I can't comment on Harrah's or Trop, but I'd be curious to hear if there's any updates there for those visiting.

I stayed at Trop last weekend, and I didn't see anything going on there.

A new restaurant, Ossu Japanese Tavern, opened about two weeks ago in the space formerly occupied by Okatshe.
