I heard that Deandre Ayton was in the mix for the Hawks—a trade involving Capela and draft picks. Suns don't want to pay him.

I hear that the Clippers may be favored to win it all (DraftKings has them equal to GS at +550/+290 championship/conference) right now, on the eve of free agency. I pause at this. The last time Kawhi competed in a full regular season, his team, Toronto, did indeed win it all...that was 2019. A full three years ago and a primary reason they won was that GS saw two of their starters go down because of injury. My questions would include, is Kawhi the same player three years later (he has played very little since then)? Is PG still the same player?—was quite dull in stretches last year. Does Wall have anything left?

Way too many question marks for me, although I love these scenarios because overlays are certain when favorites are questionable.

Totally agree he is great player. The shot against Philly in the 2019 Eastern Conference Finals was sublime. He played great in the Finals, as well, but a healthy Durant and Thompson would have steam rolled his team.

Anyway, I think I would put my money on the Lakers and LeBron before taking the Clippers. If LB and AD are healthy for most of the season, they will be a force, no matter what Russ does. The Clippers are perennial losers. Look it up.

Ayton, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder, draft picks, cash to Nets for KD. I'd love to see Durant come to the Valley of the Sun. Combined with Booker and Paul, they would be instant favorites to win it all.

Wouldn’t it be the best if KD got sent back to OKC for all their future draft picks.

Best for whom. ? They wanted to keep him originally but the bidding was escalated behind reason.
i can see (but don’t see) the clippers going hard… to cover injury and fatigue (poor guys)

I just think it would be funny.

I don’t think he has a no trade clause or trade kicker so they can send him to the destination with the best assets. And OKC has a butt load of draft picks
