I have seen some references to it in Trip Reports. But how is it? One trip report said many of the games are down. Is there a place to grab a drink or food or do you simply go in and walk around playing Pinball
    Thanks

Was just there. If there was food, I didn’t notice it with all the pinball goodness there. There were quite a few that were down, but there were quite enough working to keep you entertained (if you like pinball.) I got $5 in quarters and lasted an hour in there. The games I played were with 50 or 75 cents.

I was there at the end of April. Yes, many of the machines are down. I made the mistake of putting coins into one that wasn't on. LOL. The employees were nice and refunded my quarters. I told them it was my first time there.

There is no food or drink. There is a restroom.

The games are very inexpensive. And maybe that's why not all of them are on. They are certainly not running this place to make a profit. Five bucks lasted me 2 hours, but I spent a lot of time just walking around and looking. I could've burned maybe 10 bucks if I really tried and wanted to. They have vintage arcade games as well as pinball games. Gauntlet, Joust, Tapper, Donkey Kong, Punch Out, many others.

No benches. No designated seating that I can recall. There might be a chair near the restroom, not sure.

The aisles are wide enough to just sit on the floor though, if you really need to. Especially the last aisles against the walls.

I know at its location one or two locations ago was a strip mall and there was a divey bar there - I was running an errand or doing something (we had a rental car that trip) I picked my husband up after a couple hrs and he was in the bar - he'd been playing a few games, next door to the bar for a beer, back to pinball. Rinse repeat until I showed up. I had a beer and played a game and then we left.

We're thinking we might have a car on our next trip, and we've talked about visiting the new location when we do...

It's run by volunteers. You might want to call them and maybe they can arrange to get your friend a folding chair or something that would work for her. Here's the contact info

The new location isn't really next to anything. It's almost directly across from the iconic "Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas" sign, on the airport side of the street, if that helps. The next closest thing is the Mandalay Bay, but it's probably realistically a half mile walk until you are actually in the casino, and I am not sure if there are sidewalks on that part of the Strip.

We were hoping to rent a car and go to Springs Preserve upon arrival on our next trip but they're not open in the middle of the week (just Fri-Mon and we arrive on a Tue) so we might finally go to the Welcome to Las Vegas sign for a photo and then some pinball. Too bad it's not near anything else, but I think the location is pretty good for tourist access.....

We went to it in 2020... it was fun but the novelty wears off pretty quick. All we needed was an hour and we were ready to leave...

It’s an old timey arcade - very pinball focused (1940-50s through the modern era) but some other stand up console games mostly around late 80s, early 90s era.

No real food or drink, though they have a vending machine - and they ask you keep the food/drink away from the games. So take a break if you need a snack.

New location doesn’t have anything within reasonable walking distance. So bring a bottle of water and plan your eating around your stay.

Don’t forget to pet Porange! He is a very good, sweet boy and will absolutely take scritches if you let him come to you. He’s an orange tabby cat.

We walked from Manaday Bay and it was an easy walk, but in the heat and with no shade you might need a walking beer (or 3). Nowhere really to sit and there are some vending machines for drinks. We loved POH. Now for us we stayed maybe an hour. However just to get away from strip madness it was totally worth it.

I've been to the old location on Trop a few times, but I never remember the lack of AC.

I was able to briefly stop last December to take a few night shots, but I could not talk anyone into going there in the daytime with me. I plan on doing it, even if I have to go solo, in August.
