I think the takeaway here is that Jerry Hall is ONLY 65. It seems like I have been hearing her name for almost 50 years.

But, looking at her wikipedia page she started dating Mick Jagger when she was 21 so the math checks out.

 

Her marriage to Jagger was annulled. I don't remember hearing about that...anybody know the grounds.

 

It was a Hindu wedding, if I am not mistaken, and the British courts annulled it saying it was not properly done.

 

I noticed that as well. Here is an article from The Guardian which claims that Hall filed for divorce. Jagger responded that the marriage was not valid because it was performed in Bali and not binding under English law. What a cad.

 

I was planning to use 2 for Ms. Hall.
But Wikipedia said one.
Mr. Murdoch has been looking for love in all the wrong places.

The split wont be very expensive. A majority of Rupert Murdoch's assets are in a secure trust governed by him and his kids. Since a secure trust is not community property, it should be a relatively small settlement. Sorry to disappoint any future trophy wives or husbands on here with their eye on Jerry Hall or Rupert Murdoch.

 

Given the fight Wendi Deng put up to get her kids to be provided for by the family trust(s), I know the prenup with Jerry was good & tight, and any future prenups are likely to be as well. Doesn't mean Ms. Hall won't be ok, but......

Ugh. I don't care at all about celebrities. Many years ago, I was waiting in line behind a cute blonde woman at the market next to my office building. I said something to her when she dropped something and didn't think anything of it. After she left the store, the person behind the counter was stunned that it was Carrie Underwood and perhaps more stunned that I had no idea who she was lol
