Thank you for reading! I agree, that the girls will carry the memories with them forever.

Thank you! I love your presence on the board @breanna61. I hope we hope the girls keep Vegasing into adulthood too.

Thank you for following along for another trip report @GamblingGolfer! I always appreciate your comments. :)

Love hearing how your early childhood trips were memorable! And thank you for the amazing comment about our age. :blowkiss:

Florida is always our most expensive vacationing. LOL. Vegas ends up the best bargain for exactly what you said....the rooms.

I'm glad you enjoyed following along!

My co-workers are pretty cool about my Vegas addiction. I'm so pleased to work (and worship) at a church that is very accepting. It's one of the major Christian denominations, but a very open branch. If I had to hide the fact that I gambled and drank and what not, I wouldn't be there. I appreciate the lack of hypocrisy and instead the focus on embracing all and spreading love and good will. It's a perfect fit for our family. The irony isn't lost on me though. I spend A LOT of time at church. ;)

We love Flagstaff and Little America! It would have been fun to meet up.

Ha! I love that you appreciate the candor. I don't use photo filters or fake how the trip is going. I like to keep it real. :D

I've always been controlled with my gambling. I enjoy the orderly factor of it. It's fun though, the rare time when I go a bit degen. And yeah, meat and potatoes will always win. Thanks for reading!

Really disappointed I dont see McCann's Steel Cut Oatmeal dish on the menu for a sacred holiday! And as many times as @luck.ofthe.draw and I have been to RiRa together and individually, we were seated in the back, back, back room a day or two before NYE and we talked about how we didnt know that huge room was even there and how large the place is overall lol

Loving this report and thanks for some of the most quotable quotes we've seen in a TR in recent times.

In all my years of dealing with the state liquor board up here, No. 1 was the only Pimms sold in Wa. If any others are still produced and/or marketed here, I suppose Total Wine would be the place to go. Personally, the concept of Pimms using scotch or tequila for the base, just doesn't fly. Of course, the first time a liquor rep showed me Fireball, I asked him who would buy a flavored whiskey. My impression of Jaegermeister was similar, so what the hell do I know!

Hahaha, this is pretty funny guys. Remember my opening post where I mentioned a squirrel had spent all winter de-stuffing one of our outdoor chair cushions?

    Here's a visual for you.

Well today, I was on our deck and I stared up at our evergreen tree.

    20220324_171151.jpg

I couldn't figure out why all of the snow had melted except for one patch in the tree. Then I looked closer...

Yep, Mr. Squirrel didn't go far to build his nest. LOL.

A few weeks ago, this red squirrel moved into our garage rent free. We set up a live trap but he left through the door when we left it open and made a hell of a racket with the air compressor. Had some entertaining footage of him on the security camera during his stay.

    Meet Steve.

Amazing report! Thanks for sharing so many great details!

    That chocolate mousse bear... wow!

Also, last time I saw LOVE, the pre-show announcement said that photography was now allowed. Unless they've reverted back to no photography, you were right.

*This* absolutely! On my November trip, I got to use the MB pool since the Luxor one was closed. It took me almost 20 minutes to get from my room in Luxor pyramid to the MB pool. I never did figure out how to get anywhere else in MB (except HoB), and the only bathrooms I found were the ones in Delano - SkyFall. While I love that wave pool, I don't think I would ever choose to stay in MB.

Every time I'd place a sports bet, the BetMGM people tried to get me to sign up for the app. I just kept saying no. We only have very limited sports betting here in WA state, and only in a few places as yet, and even then, only tribal casinos. I like to keep my betting in-person and in LV.

Loved your report!! Thanks for sharing it, and following up on the meals/shows that you couldn't do live. I always enjoy your reports, and they remind me of our fun road trips when the big kids (who are now in college!) were younger. We're taking my youngest for a driving trip to Reno for his Spring Break, and I'm looking forward to it!

I too work for a church, but ... after a negative comment a co-worker made about gambling, I now just say I'm "going on retreat" (which is what my boss does after Christmas and Easter and every August), and no one questions that!

I love that you work for a church too! And holy cow, that church work is eating my lunch right now...hence the drop off on responding to a whole bunch of replies.

I'm overwhelmed with the upcoming weeks. Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Easter Sunday...

Good Saint/Sinner that I am...I convinced V to go to Black Hawk, CO casinos this weekend. Can't even go two weeks without a Vegas fix.

Thanks for reading! Love your trip reports. Hope to get to remaining responses soon. I fall off the map after a trip ends.

Those bottles have been lovingly tucked away for the next trip!

Thanks for reading @Jer! Hope we can connect some time in the future.

The cost of everything for a family of 5 is insane! Really glad V talked me out of #4. Thanks for reading!

That sticker shock is no joke! Agree, really happy we're feeding girls. LOL.

The girls have been going to Vegas for 7 years now. They do love it, but man is it nice when they're not with us!

    Absolutely they're future gamblers!

I completely agree! I loved hearing my grandparents talk of their trips to Vegas. I wish I had gone at least once as a kid.

Thank you for reading! I have a feeling the girls will tag along into adulthood. And...they'll want mom and dad footing the bill. :D

    Sorry for the late replies!

Thank you for following along. I'm glad you enjoyed our adventures!

I hope you and your family have an amazing trip this summer!

I'm glad we finally tried Tender. We got a lot of mileage out of the MyVegas reward for Camelot Steakhouse, but we never got the one for Tender. It's a solid place! Thanks for reading another one of my reports.

Thanks so much! We had a blast.

I'm glad you enjoy my reports. :) I hope we do family trips for a long time. Those flashing cups are fun!

Libertine Social was great! I've cancelled a reservation there before, so I'm glad we tried it this time.

    Thank you for reading!

Thanks for reading! Family trips are definitely challenging, but so memorable. I wish I hadn't booked X-Pot, but it didn't ruin my trip despite it being a huge waste of money. Live and learn for me. I think I've talked myself out of trying the tasting menu at é as a result.

Thanks for reading. See you this summer, friend!

The girls really do have a special bond. They each have unique personalities too.

Thanks for reading! I gain so many tips from your reports. That Rí Rá is a labyrinth!

Thanks for reading! I knew I wasn't going crazy over the LOVE pictures being allowed.

Thanks for following our family's adventures!

Soooo...I mentioned I was still jonesing for some Vegas. V and I hit up Black Hawk, CO yesterday. Glad we did!

Heck, yeah!!!! This was a "handpay" at the tiny casino I was in.

I came home with $765 more than I took after some very generous tipping throughout the day. :headbang:

And look at the price for my prime rib dinner. Yeah, it wasn't high end, but it sure didn't suck.

    20220401_182002.jpg
    Not too shabby for $7.99.

    20220401_184010.jpg
I legit don't even know how to react to prices like this. :kill:This is like one cocktail at Bavette's.

    Local fun!

My apologies to @tringlomane. We were totally going to slay the day by claiming a $1,450 progressive on .25 DDB VP. Alas, it wasn't meant to be. Instead, we enjoyed $100 of "free" drinks. At least they were strong! :goofy:

Peace out! :peace: Catch you creepy people on our summer trip.

I haven't hit a progressive royal either. But at least I'm no longer in a royal drought anymore. :woot::woot::woot: And your slot hit was almost worth a quarter royal! Congrats!

Also looking at the receipt. Are most cities in CO like that? The city tax is ~double the state tax? If it was that way in IL, we'd have an 18.75% sales tax.

LOL...I had forgotten about this! V sent me the link. Here's the Travel Ruby group slot pull we participated in.

We weren't in any of the beginning group shots I don't think, so jump to 24:00 if you want to skip to us. V was first and then me. There is footage of my pull at the end when she's talking about the whole thing.

Kind of embarrassing being on camera.

Am currently about 8 min into this video, watching while I cook dinner, and was just thinking to myself, I wonder if this is the Vegasworm slot pull and came here to ask. That answers my question! Watching the second hand pay right now, seems like a really fun group slot pull!
