Yep for the simple menu, you can customize it a lot.. We've gotten burned w. the well done fries, but don't really like the regular fries, imo, a little undercrisp, thats what you get when they're cranking fresh hand cut fries, but yes there are secret options, like grilled onions on the burger and asking for "spread" (kind of like a thousand island dressing) on the side lets you get packets to make anything a little animal style... and also IIRC you can custom order as many pattys as you like, say a 4x4, and of course people have to push the limits,

yeah kind of nasty but hey Vegas trivia in there.

also never had it in Vegas, we get it at home, I could see the line not being worth it, but now I kind of want to try it on the way in.

I have never been to any of the LV locations but in the fairly rare event I get a fast food burger, it's usually an In & Out burger. I especially love the texture of the bun.

Growing up in suburban Los Angeles, in high school my friends and I would pull into the line at 11 pm and would finally get our food around midnight. The branch near us was one of the first and only had 2 drive thru lanes and a walk up window, and the only indoor area was the kitchen. There were about 6 of the hardest working people I had ever seen in the kitchen, grilling burgers like maniacs. Good times.

im not sure if you’ve ever had in n out in California but it does taste different here for some reason. I feel the quality is better especially the fries so I completely agree with you!

And if you customize a burger that big ever…. We all want the TR on that

Any more I'd rather just throw in a couple more bucks and go to a tavern and get a real burger and brew.

My thoughts exactly, this place has a cult following to be sure, but I can take or leave it. And I was born and raised in California.

Not opposed to variations at all. Just saying they have a formula that works well. I can't count the number of times I've gone for InO and driven past because they were too busy. Those options sound good, but I don't blame them for staying the course.

I stop at In & Out every trip to Vegas. None near me these days. It's about the best deal for fast food and the quality is great. Love the Double Double (no spread. ketchup instead, add grilled onions). In & Out is the only chain I eat at when in Vegas...

Even though the prices are higher at the Linq location, it's still a good deal. One of the times I went to Vegas last year I stayed at the Flamingo and when I went outside to the Linq there were probably 50 people waiting in line outside. I think they were not letting people eat inside at that time and maybe only letting a few in at a time to order. But it looked like it would take forever so I skipped it and stopped at another location for lunch the next day.

You used to be able, and there are photos of people with 100x100 but its probably been about 10 years since they capped it at 4x4.

Is 3x2 or 4x2 type combination OK at In n Out? I wanna have more patties, but don't want their cheese to overpower. Have always gone with double double before and found it a little bit too cheesy.

Not a fan of the fries but love their burgers. Fresh ingredients and good price.. The employees are all friendly too which is always a plus.

I mentioned it in passing, but you can order your fries well done,
They came out much better for us once, and once they were wayyy overdone, so we kind of gave up on it.

I can't agree more. I hit up all the burger joints I can't get around here or can be difficult to go to. Every place has been great except the In-N-Out fries. Hot, fresh, but not good.

They sell a load of fries so at least three or four people like them.

Couple million swedes eat surrstromming every year. No thanks. I understand that place is extremely popular, not sure why. I'm sure lots of people like me want to try the hype. I mean, there were idiots in Denver lining up for days (literally) which after having eaten there just makes me laugh.
