It appears that Wynn has added 8/5 bp at the dollar, 2$ and 5$ level on "several banks throughout" according to VPfree. Has anyone been recently and noticed where some of these machines can be found? I know that Wynn isn't *too* stingy with room comps, so with their .1 percent slot club and a potential room comp this isn't a bad play. Just wondering why they would do this when everyone else seems to be tightening up? Perhaps it is the effect of Resorts World spreading the same game, or casino management realizing that they are getting less and less revenue from VP after eliminating so many of the decent options.

I'm quite familiar with the Wynn LV inventory and believe that should be 7/5 BP not 8/5 BP in $1 and $2. I'm sending a correction to them now. (They do have $5 and up 8/5 BP.)

P.S. The lone All Star machine with $1 games that has been there for years is gone now. I will report that also.

The change was made very recently, 8 days ago. Will be interesting to see if this is confirmed or not. I guess I will obviously find out on my upcoming trip. Wasn't planning to gamble much there but may play a bit of BP (either 7/5 or 8/5) and blackjack to coax a teaser offer.

Have only played 7/5 Progressive there when the progressive jackpot was juicy. Nice to see a change in the player's benefit. Still profitable for the casino.

vpFREE2 just made the correction and told me that the player reported 7/5 BP on those machines but they made the error of showing it as 8/5 BP instead. (I am posting what they told me with their permission.)

I thought it sounded too good to be true. Looks like my gambling at Wynn will consist of .25 7/5 bp and a bit of slots if I still have enough BR left at the end of the trip.
