Glad you are doing what you want, more people should do this. I lived in LA for 20+ years and recently moved to Austin. Love it here and should have done this years ago. LA was just getting too expensive and crowded.
Now I have more money to go back to Vegas more often. Already booked my trip for NYE and back again in Feb

The Costco out by Sunset Station was actually $0.50 cheaper a gallon this past September than anywhere else!

A Cosmo tip for those that drive and park there, if you go down to the 4th level of garage you can usually park right in front of the elevators most days, of course the weekends are different.

Good morning Las Vegas! It's a beautiful crisp fall morning. The fresh start is apparent already, as I drive through town and actually get places.

I'm in Spring Valley, surrounded by mountains and close to Summerlin.

 

Picking up steals of deals left and right at Best Buy and Workd Marketttt! It's a great day!

World Market has a really yummy Pinot Noir called Fog and Light. If you join their rewards program it knocks 5 bucks off the price. They closed the store where my dad lives so he sends me to the store up here when he knows I’m heading home for a visit.

 

The Dillard's at Meadows Mall is a clearance center. High quality stuff and great prices, especially around holidays. Check it out sometime.

 

Congrats on the move! Love the kitties and that you got to hang with McCann again.

Ooh dinner. I admit, I was a little skeptical because I love, love, loved Rose.Rabbit.Lie

But damn Cos, I like what you've done with the place!






So you're saying, my cat needs his own painting. Got it.

 

This was a nice, leisurely meal of about an hour and a half. Plenty of time for conversation and exclamations over the food.

M got "Here Comes the Sun" which was fucking incredible and so so good. Flavor punch to the mouth, that one.

I got the Psycho Pop Party and it was good, but not as good as M's. SO good omg.

We got the chicken parm, polenta, and pesto. Everything was delicious and amazing in itself own way.



The polenta has a fresno chili jam that you mix in, and it is fuckin incredible. I'm a sucker for creamy, delectable polenta and I had a good feelin about this. It's also covered in cheeseeeee.


When you mix it, it looks delicious:


The polenta also played well with the chicken Parm.

Quality of ingredients matters, people! This tomato sauce had the kick in the pants spice, but the consistency of an all-day simmer and then some. Incredible, and probably the best chicken Parm I've had to date.

I had a super Tuscan with dinner. YUM. Everyone had fantastic shirts! M got several compliments on his getup too, which was cool.

We also got a riff on the Penicillin courtesy of Bottle'O


Absolutely a 9/10, definitely can't wait to go back. I love what they've done with the space, we had incredible service, a fun waiter, and a great show! The juggler at the end was bitchin!
