Finally! Back to Vegas after 22 LOOONG months! :D

Apparently Vegas knights fans are more rowdy at home than Canadian hockey fans at home.

Day 2 recap...

I can't believe it's only been 2 days... feels like a week already lol

I was up at the asscrack of dawn because like an older gentleman I went to bed so early the first night... what do you do a 5:30am? haha Fiddled around the room for awhile then finally made my way down to the casino at Park MGM. I had $225 freeplay to work with so I figured I'd try to turn that into some cold hard cash. As you seen it was a success! Probably got about $700 out of it which was much needed. Played some blackjack as I had the MyVegas matchplay to use. Won the matchplay and finished the session up a whopping $2.50. Better than a kick in the...

Grabbed a breakfast sandwich at Eataly, was decent, not sure it was worth $15 but fortunately I have $250 of resort credit to burn through, which I am failing at. After the bite I started making the trek down to Circus Circus. It was pretty hot outside so I had to take a break at the Mirage which ended up costing me a few hundred in slots. Played around Treasure Island for awhile which wasn't as expensive as the Mirage, but still not profitable.


*tip: Just inside the rail here is the best place to be on NYE. Not on the street side, on the sidwalk side. Trust me.

Then I made my way down to the dirtiest, dingiest, most awesome place on the Strip. Got a new players club card as the one I had must have expired. They had a promo where you can get a cool looking computer bag if you got 1500 points. I wanted it so I got 1500 points. You ever go to a restaurant and order something pictured on the menu that turns out look a little different in reality? Or how about calling one of the numbers on the porn slapper cards because the chick on the card looks like Britney Spears, but when the knock finally comes on the hotel room door it looks like Britney Spears' grandmother is standing out there? Well this was one of those times where the picture was a little different than reality. This is the "computer bag" I got lol



Oh I also grabbed one of the dollar coins as a cool souvenir because I don't think those coin dropper machines will last too much longer.

Made my way to Resorts World to check the place out. The description saying it's a shopping mall with a casino is pretty accurate to me. However, when you're in the shopping mall it feels like a shopping mall, and when you're in the casino it feels like a casino. Anyhow, played a few slots and also played some blackjack because I wanted a $1 chip. I thought it was interesting when I cashed out at the blackjack table the dealer asked me if I wanted chips or a cashout voucher. I planned to play some slots so I took the voucher, which he printed right at the table. Never seen this before. He said a lot of people take the voucher because you don't have to go to the cashier to get your money, you can just go to any cashout machine on the casino floor. I didn't mind this at all.

Grabbed a bite at Mulberry Street Pizzeria as you seen, pie was good.

Also checked this cool statue out...



Left Resorts World and made the looong walk back to Park MGM. Ended up taking the tram from Bellagio because I was too lazy to keep walking.



Got ready for the VGK game while overlooking T-Mobile arena and Toshiba Plaza from my room which was bustling with excitement for the game. I think they say you have to have 'the shots' to get in the arena, but yet again, nobody asked to see any proof. Not surprised.



Had a great seat which only cost me $50. It was an awesome game to watch with 11 goals scored in total and Vegas getting the 'W'. For the record they have never lost with me in attendance It was fun and I might buy another ticket to the game on Thursday. I plan to watch the game on Tuesday at Stadium Swim.



After the game I made my way over to MGM Grand and played a bunch of slots and some bj at a $50 table. You seen the result of that. Made my way over to NYNY and played $50 Pai Gow for awhile, which I think I was unsuccessful at... I say 'I think' because I honestly can't remember the end of the session, I can't remember losing everything and I also can't remember cashing anything out. I'm pretty sure I didn't go to the cashier so I must have lost. I'm not impressed with myself haha

Grabbed a late night bite of pizza then made my way to the room. I was up for about 21-22 hours so I put in a full day haha

I'm realizing that out of the 6 times I ate food 3 was pizza and 1 was a pizza pretzel lol Might have to try something different today haha

Speaking of today... not sure what's on tap... I have to pick up a car rental at Bally's at about 3:30pm. Outside of that I think I will give Aria and Bellagio a try, see if they are in a giving mood. I also want to catch the Seahawks game this afternoon. With the rental I plan on checking out Virgin and picking up a $1 chip for the collection. Might take a drive around town.
