That makes sense. Apart from the separate debate about what that automation does to the workforce (don’t get started) I liked RTW.

I don’t think the payout tables are quite as good as on a “real” game, need to go back and double check while sober. But for the player who is a lower roller (namely me, this trip anyway :haha:) I thought it gives you the chance to play in casinos that are typically $25 per hand/roll.

Like most people, towards the end of a very hot shooter I was thinking, “I should cash out now,” but didn’t. I had just over $100 in bets I had pressed that could’ve had me up $200 off that measly $60 buy in. But no, I didn’t. He sevened out the next roll. I took my $100 profit and ran.

Anyway, what’s a good diner style breakfast here mid-Strip? I don’t want MAG. It’s great food, but I’m in the mood for a step down from that.

Roll on! Next stop, Ellis Island!

Don’t forget Ellis island. I’ve read about 2 or 3 reasonable spots in the miracle mile at PH

One other question if I may…..is there a good dispensary near the Sahara? We’re bopping down there this afternoon and I’d like to find one I can get to on foot. Other recommendations welcomed too. I don’t mind cabbing, but was looking for convenience of where I’ll be.

I think there is dispensary right next to the Wallgreeens/CVS on the BLVD and Sahara. No clue if it is any good.

Planet 13 is not far from there if you want to do it right. Its quite close for a short cab ride.

Why not Ellis Island for breakfast? Their steak and eggs special is legendary. ReLeaf dispensary is across Sahara Avenue from Sahara Inn, near the McDonalds.

We ended up just staying at PH for breakfast, their diner the Hollywood Cafe. REALLY good Bloody Mary.

    The breakfast of champions!
Last night’s $100 profit evaporated quickly in 15 minutes of 3 card poker at $10 minimum.

AND - I can report a $5 blackjack table here at PH! They do exist - on a Wednesday morning.

Been grinding for 2 hours at Ellis Island, managed to turn a $100 buy in into $180. Not bad for $5 craps, as long as I’m not losing I’ll take the little wins!

I REALLY like Ellis, but dang, it’s SO smoky.

    Monorail to Sahara next.

Forgot to add….there was a dude at the craps table who was SO annoying. He knew the game very well, but let everybody know it. He was constantly calling out the plays and payouts to the dealers like he worked there.

We bet the don’t when he rolled and won. :haha:

    Here’s a clue….DON’T be that guy.

OK, so the Sahara was dead as a door nail. We didn’t play at all. It’s a shame, because I was very impressed with the property itself.

We did go across the street however….. D0AECEB2-1A21-47C6-831A-781B9A3FA48E.jpeg

Curious as to the cost of your Camino, if you don't mind sharing. Continued good luck. Sad to hear about Sahara, I thought maybe when they went back to the old name they would regain some momentum.

To add to this... there's also no risk of payout/colour up errors as there would be with physical chips. At high-limit tables I'm sure even occasional small errors can be costly long-term.

After our adventure to the northern end of the Strip, we monorailed back up to Paris and decided to get crepes! Lovely!
