According to their web site, it gives you some of the diamond level line skips, but not the rest of the alleged diamond benefits. So if you're diamond or above, no. If you aren't, it's free once you reach the soend threshold, so why not.

Not worth it just for the access pass.

Coming from someone with 30+ credit cards... I see so little value in this credit card and personally have not gotten it, or the MGM one

I have both cards. I use the mLife card a lot more since I primarily stay at their resorts. The Pearl Status, along with the free parking at all MGM resorts in Las Vegas, makes the card worth it for me.

I use the CET card for booking flights (2x points) and for staying at the Harrah's in Kansas City. I rack up enough points to comp my dinner in Las Vegas a couple times a year.

VIP card is not a visa card. But you need to be a Caesar's visa card holder to get it.
I believe if you spend $10,000 per year on your card you get it.
The best benefit is access to Diamond check in, free valet parking.
It doesn't cost anything to accept the VIP card.

I was replying to @nostresshere who said he had 30 credit cards (but not the CET Visa or the mLife Mastercard)

I know for a fact I haven't spent anywhere close to $10k on my CET card, but I'll take the perk anyhow!

It's worth it for me. I've been Diamond for years. I have used the VIP Access card multiple times for taxi lines at Caesars Palace. They usually have taxi lines sectioned off as "7 Stars & VIP Access", "Diamond", - I have bypassed the Diamond/regular taxi line of 10-15 people standing in the hot sun (over 100 degrees) and walked right up to "7 Stars & VIP Access" line, flashed my VIP Access card w/ a $5 and got the next taxi - while the line of overheated, frustrated others glared at me.

One line cut like that above made having the card worth it.

I got that email, too and know I haven’t charged 10K on that card this year. I’ve had the VIP card other years but have not really used it much, seems the lines were already short the few times I was going to use it. I’ll definitely pick it up next time I come to LV, good to have around, just in case.

That's... odd. Because on the one hand I've only ever seen a separate cab line for 7 stars once (usually just a single D/7* line for cabs), but mostly because the web page for the access pass explicitly says it will get you some of the access of diamond tier. So perhaps it's changed.

Your invitation states it is "Based on your Visa spend". Maybe they lowered the amount needed.

Not disputing that.. previous poster said it was based on $10,000 spend and I stated that I haven't spent that much

    LOL. I'm the "previous poster".
It is definitely based on spending. All I said was the amount must be lower.

They must have lowered the spend requirement for 2021-I got the same e-mail and I only spend enough to keep Platinum ($5K)
