My biggest issue with the Freestyle is with the flavorings they use. If I get sparkling Dasani with lime flavoring, it comes out clear. If I get ginger ale with lime flavoring, it comes out Hulk-green!

This is wrong on so many levels. First, the color of the flavoring changes based on the type of base beverage? Also, what part of a lime (other than maybe the peel) is Hulk-green?

The McDonald’s in the Luxor served Pepsi.

Coke or Pepsi? Really doesn’t matter to me… UNLESS it’s a mixer for Jack Daniels, then it MUST be Coke! Jack and Pepsi doesn’t work for me.

If they serve Coke products, I get a Coke or Cherry Coke or Dr. pepper. If they serve Pepsi products, I get Mt. Dew or Dr. Pepper. Not really a big deal, and most places have an Ice Tea or Lemonade if they are out of those.

    My preference was always Coke.

Now and for many years, I don't drink much pop. But when I get a hankering, I drink Ginger Ale.

This battle has been ongoing since the Roman empire.
I used to work in hotels and in the 80's we used to pull the competitors products from the mini bar when Coke or Pepsi execs came in.

Prefer Coke, Pepsi is ok. But I felt like the best thing I ever tasted was my first coke after spending three days in Vegas at a Pepsi-only hotel.

Then again, I drink Mt Dew at home.

It wouldn't surprise me for a second, to be honest, if those cans of Coke products were bought personally by the servers and discreetly brought onto the property. If a 12-pack costs less than $5 and they'll make that several times over from tips, it's not unlike other "soft hustles" I've seen in the hospitality industry.

Also, with all this talk of Jack and Cokes, I thought this would be a good opportunity to slip in this reference for the Motorhead fans out there who wish to honour the late Lemmy. Shortly after he passed it became somewhat of a thing to call a Jack and Coke a "Lemmy" (being his favourite drink), and I thought it was a good thing so this is my attempt to keep it going :)

I do not drink any dark colored soft drinks now. But, in the past I was a Pepsi drinker. Today I only drink Ginger Ale, Fresca or Squirt.

I think they all did Luxor, Monte Carlo, MGM Grand but something changed in the contracts and all of them were gone

At work we have a Coke machine behind the reception area and a Pepsi machine in the lunchroom. "Neither one knows that the other one's there." :)

I would guess that places like the Mansion, the Talon Club (or whatever the high end one at Cosmo is), etc. will stock pretty much anything reasonable upon request for someone who is playing four figures a hand. It's the same reason they serve real champagne and better hooch there - it's worth it. You want to drink Fresca with some grenadine? It'll be there. It's a different story in standard HL, though, I wouldn't expect to get off brand soda in Luxor or Flamingo HL slots playing for $4 a spin.

This is a very regulated industry with lots of management oversight. Servers aren't willy nilly stocking bars with random 12 packs of soda. The manager of F&B is going to roll his or her eyes at that for a random player. Servers also don't really need to do this on the Strip, given the transiency of the player base, the amount ofplayers available, and the ease of supplying the F&B readily available. They just have to figure out which of their players are tipping decently and serve them what is available.

I wish the Wynn would carry Tab. That way I could have my favorite drink:

Tab was on the list of products that Coca Cola discontinued making. Products like Odwalla also made that list.

Coke if the casino is a Coke shop.

Ginger ale if it's a Pepsi shop.

I prefer Diet Pepsi over Diet Coke. I preferred Coke Zero to all other diet colas, but they changed the recipe and now it's terrible.

However, I will drink any diet cola they hand me. Ultimately, I really don't care.

I don't like either Coke or Pepsi so I just go with a Jack and Jack.
