I was secretly rooting for a Kyrie for Simmons trade (one headache for another). IMO I think you really gotta love Simmons to trade for his toxic ass.

He does. It was just a bad joke by me that fell fat. For three years, I have heard about his long arms. I'm just tired of it

Added a couple props to the late game tonight:
James over 2.5 turnovers. Really like this one. He should handle the ball a lot combined with a GS defense I expect to be aggressive. That means turnovers.
Davis score first FG. Its not s smart bet. But the payoff is so high, I decided to take a flyer with a small bet. I do think lakers win the tip and LeBron wants to involve his teammates early. so that likely means Davis or Russ. Davis is the better shooter, so there ya go

Ok, I had forgotten about Kawhi's ACL injury. Huge. But they might still go over, in my opinion. Paul George could put that team on his back. Of course, not with my money.

Simmons getting a little revenge on the organization for basically blaming him for their playoff woes. I expect he will land on his feet somewhere, too good of a player.

It is possible but its asking a lot of PG. The only way they can compete against good teams is if PG initiates the offense, bails out busted plays and sets, and defends the best wing or guard on the other team. That's asking a lot

All I know is the Clips without Kawhi are going to be brutal to watch on TV.

if he really wants to land on his feet, he needs to show up and look tradeable. Showing up like this is really only a ploy to get cut, but this stuff is so dumb in that they can simply suspend him over and over for insubordination and not pay him in the meantime.

Well, what if your boss came out and said that you were the main reason why your company lost money last year? Thinking you would want to get out of that job. This is precisely what Simmons is doing. He said he wanted to be traded two months ago. It's not his fault that Philly wants more for Simmons than he's worth. He's obviously going to be a distraction until they move him.

Can't blame him for something he isn't. He's not a scorer. Philly should simply get what ever possible for him and move on. What, he'll suddenly become a 25 points a game guy for someone else? Please.

I’m sure you saw this from my previous post; these are the stats of a $30 million a year player? It was reported that The Sixers let Jimmy Butler go at the request of Ben Simmons. I read that over the years there have been several other accommodations made in deference to Simmons. The Sixers organization didn’t place the total blame on Simmons, and I’m sure that Doc Rivers could have chosen his words a little better after the Atlanta series. This guy needs to go, but the Sixers want something in return. Maybe just wait till some one gets injured and his value increases as the season goes on.

    Agree with @hammie

Let’s keep this in perspective. His average salary is $35.5 million. The salary cap is only $112.4 million.

The dude averaged 14.3 ppg in the regular season and only scored 8,6, and 5 in the last three playoff games vs ATL taking an average of 4.67 shots/game for those games.

For that play the 6’11” Simmons had 6’1’ Trae Young in front of him and the basket and he passed. Should’ve posterized Trae.

No one is saying anything about 25 ppg. His salary aligns with expectations so we can expect more. He’s highly paid and fragile.

I say Philly should just cut their losses and get rid of Simmons. The longer they keep him, the more damage he’s doing to the team.

Yep. I knew it was a dumb bet. But the game started exactly as I expected. lakers won the tip and LeBron immediately went inside to a teammate. Just picked the wrong teammate

I shouldn't bite on this because, who really cares?

I just am curious why anyone would 'loathe' a completely dormant, insignificant franchise whose main three players are genuinely terrific, humble guys?

If you have an ex-wife who was banging Brad Lohaus behind your back years ago, MAYBE I could understand....but it's a fascinating comment.
