On my trip 2 weeks ago I had an offer for my Bally's stay that included a choice of freeplay or gift card. I chose a gift card. I opted in at the kiosk and got a print out that said:

"You have received $35 Southwest EGift card.
Digital Gift Cards will be electronically delivered to the email address associated with CR account beginning October 15, 2021. Guests will have 24 hrs to contact Special Events personnel should they not receive DIgital Gift Card email within said period."

Ok. WTH? Did anyone else have this offer and receive a gift card?

It says they are delivered "beginning" Oct 15. But I only have 24 hours to contact someone if I don't get it? Well, I did NOT receive it yesterday, the 15th. And how exactly do I contact Special Events personnel? There is absolutely no info.

Once again CET, what a cluster!

Edited on 10/23 to add: In case you don't want to read the whole thread, the issue was resolved successfully!

I got a call from CET on Thursday, saying they would have the card resent.
On Friday I also received an email response with the same information.
And today, Saturday, I did indeed get another email with my SWA gift card information. Yay!

So this time around, CET actually followed through. Let's hope they keep it up!

Did you check the junk mail box of the email address on file with CET?

Sorry, but it kind of makes me laugh that the message is so vague. Maybe you can call Caesars properties at (877)603-4390 (Bally's), and ask for Special Events. It might be a number selection, and if there is none, maybe you can press zero for the Bally's operator. I hope it helps, but I'm skeptical that it will.

Don't know the answer but I can tell you that we got an offer for a gift card at Harrah's Tahoe which we redeemed. We never got the ecard even though we looked everywhere and called several times to no avail. Hand me the card. These ecards are BS.

Well, it just gets better and better. I tried calling a few numbers. Every one reroutes me to the generic (probably located on Mars) call center. Finally got through to Bally's, I think. They sent me to the Rewards Center. That number rang, and rang, and rang...

I got on the website and tried to send in an email support request. It wanted me to log in, which I did. then log in again and from there I got stuck in the I Am Not a Robot circle of hell.

So, I tried doing it from the app. I got my message in, uploaded a copy of my verification receipt, hit submit and I got a Warning, your request did not go through. I tried 3 times. Same error message. Decide to give up and then boom, boom, boom, got 3 CR Customer Service Incident emails.

OMG - I'm sure I just wasted 30 minutes for nothing, but we'll see. UGH!!

Caesars Palace Special Events number I had from last year. Maybe they can direct you to Ballys people.

Thanks for the number. I called and got vm. It said it was Special Events for Caesars properties, so hopefully they will return my message.

Since I ALWAYS play an amount larger than the so called "gift", I ALWAYS take the FreePlay.

That eliminates and problem with the card never coming through. Or even worse and. want they prefer - you forget about it later.

Financially, the value is the same.

When I hit the next TC amount, I just took the freeplay. It was there immediately. I think next time, that is the way to go for all offers. or RC, if those are offered.

I redeemed mine as a gift card, not intending to play more. Then ended up playing another 2300 points, so I missed out on the extra $100.

But I did receive the email with the initial e-gift card on Oct. 13.

The email was [email protected], so perhaps you could search your email or go through spam?

Thanks for the email! I ran a search and did find an email from them back in June when I had an email offer from my local.

So that tells me the email should get to me if it was sent.

My receipt did say they would begin sending on the 15th so maybe it will still arrive or maybe CET will respond to my VM or email or maybe hell will freeze over. :kill: we'll see if any of those happen.

Same thing happened for a Starbucks "egiftcard". Never received anything in my email. Contacted my host, "sorry, Harrah's does not handle that, have to contact Starbucks". Never got nowhere, such a BS.

Absurd to even suggest that contacting Starbucks about this could possibly be a solution. The host already knows that he could spend hours trying to solve this and he will get nowhere, so it’s on you.

The host is actually correct. Harrahs doesn’t handle things like this. If the gift you were promised never arrives, they aren’t going to help you.

Lesson: With CET, take something you can get your hands on RIGHT NOW, so any screwups can be handled in person when staff still knows what you are talking about.

This is exactly why I take the reward credits if they are offered in lieu of the gift card.

Well, I am getting absolutely nowhere. Any phone number I have tried is not answered, or no VM is returned. Any messages I have sent are not returned. What a farce of a program. From now on I will take the Freeplay. I would have preferred RC, but that was not an option with this giveaway.
