    Hello!

Just checking to see if anyone has been able to apply their birthday dinner credit to their Wynn Buffet bill.

I’m planning to go to the buffet next week and would like to use the $150 Birthday dinner credit.
I am not staying at the Wynn, so will not be able to charge to the room.

We used our BD credit a couple weeks at Allegro. We made reservations and when we got to Vegas we went to the rewards desk about an hour before dinner to get the credit downloaded on our card. We were not staying at the Wynn. We had a very nice Dinner there and didnt use the whole amount. We were so stuffed after dinner...didnt have room for dessert or another drink. No problems using the credit at all.

Has anyone used it specifically at the Buffet?

I believe @midliferetired was able to do so. It was in a different Wynn thread iirc.

Yes, I did this last week when I was visiting Vegas. I was staying at the Wynn and just charged it to my room. Before checking out, went to the Wynn Rewards desk and they removed the charges using the birthday credit. Just remember it's all used even if you don't spend up to the $150.

If you aren't staying, just visit Wynn Rewards prior to dining and they will load it on your card. Reservations really are the best way at the buffet to ensure you can get in faster. The walk-in line can talk awhile depending.

Also, does it matter if we use it during breakfast or brunch? I know it’s called Birthday “Dinner” credit, so not sure if they are being sticklers with time of day it’s being used.

It doesn’t matter. They should call it dining credit. It doesn’t cover tip. I hope you have enough people to use all the $150 in one meal.

A Buffet for two people with alcoholic drinks (packages of choices on the Wynn placemats) should take care of that $150 at the Wynn.

Just the answer I was hoping for! I will definitely have enough people to use up this credit - 4 for the price of 1 at the buffet if all goes smoothly! I believe it’s $49.99/pp right now for Saturday brunch.
    Thanks for the info!

I have a question on how this would work at the buffet if you are not staying at the wynn. You need to pre-pay to reserve, so how do you use the credit if you need to go to the reward center to load the credit on to your card before going to the buffet? Last time I went there you couldnt get in line unless you reserved (pre-paid).

I made reservations using the “casino guest” option and entered my Wynn Rewards number. I didn’t prepay. I’ll let you know if that works when I’m there next weekend.

Made reservations online as a casino comp guest (did not prepay). Went to Wynn Rewards desk the morning of reservation. Asked to have birthday dining/dinner credit added to my card. They asked if I already had reservations and where and they had to ask manager to approve it. It was approved and added in less than 2 minutes. Got in line at the buffet and let them know I had reservations. You pay at your table with the waitress instead of at entry. When we sat down, the waitress asked if we were hotel guests and we said no. She then asked how we’d like to pay. I said that I have a comp that I’d like to use for all 4 people. Then she took my players card and ID and that was that. Brunch was totally free as I won a major right before (on a $1 bet no less!) Thank you, Wynn!

Looks like they only charged sales tax on the un-comped balance. That's nice.
