Just curious . I always loves stopping by a Casino Royale for some cheap beers. Do they still offer $3 bottled beers .Thanks

Pretty sure it was still $3 back at the beginning of 2020. Sadly, I haven't been able to get back yet. If all goes well, middle of October I'll be back!

They had signs up for it in June. I haven’t heard of it going away

Been since late last year that I've been in there (whaaaaat?!??!) But I've been there a couple times since they reopened last year and the signs were still up. Gotta make it a point to get over there this upcoming trip!

They used to have 50 cent well drink at happy hour. They were generous with the alcohol too. They let me buy a tray of 16 rum and cokes to bring back to my group. The cocktail waitresses weren't happy that I was just handing them out to anybody playing slots. :)

One of my favourite haunts (of course you cannot forget their patented apocalypse hot dogs), $3 cold beers. You can't go wrong.

No more Michelobs at all when I was there a month ago. But all beers are still $3.

At least some times, the bar doesn't seem staffed. I went in earlier this week and there was just a security guard at the bar, and he didn't look like he was about to serve any drinks. Waitresses were using a little service bar closer to where the ATM used to be.

We frequent CR & have never seen this...
Could they have just run to the back for supplies/a quick break? (in other words, how LONG did it appear unmanned?)
Perhaps labor shortages have them not staffing at "slow" times?
They have a pretty senior group of bartenders & waitresses so I would be surprised even in this labor market.

Slightly off-topic but I just wanted to say that Casino Royale doesn't look like they've updated their website since the '90s... :haha:

The unstaffed bar was on Wednesday morning, close to noon. No one was seated at the bar, and generally, they always have a bartender and a bar back. I believe the tap handles may have been removed. The place was pretty busy, otherwise. It was definitely at least a half-hour.

I've got another trip in a week, so I'll check back.

The bar was staffed when I went in earlier this week. Back to as normal as possible.

So $3 for a bottle of beer isn't a great deal anymore is it? You can get tallboys along the walk for a better price?

A co-worker and I were talking about this last week as he didn't realize they sold cheap beer. It was my go to being at The Mirage for a few trips at least.

$3 for a bottle of beer is better than the just under $8 I paid for a can of beer at the Flamingo gift shop earlier this year!

I feel that. I get caught empty handed at the booth by the Tram stop between Aria and Park often and get hosed.

The little shops that front LVB at Harrahs and Flamingo usually have deals or tall boy sales like buy one get one half price. That's what I was wondering.

The best little place was under the Eiffel Tower. Not the front bar but a little shop behind it. They always had great deals. It was a hair salon last time I went.

If you take the specials, most of the places on the Strip usually have a $2.50-$4 per 12 oz deal on a tall boy of a generic American beer if you ask at the counter or read the signs. The value of CR is if you want a specific brand that they have. For me, eh, not worth the walk, since I'm not usually there.

I might have to add a 'drugstore beer fridge crawl' element to my planned casino crawl on my next trip - buy a decent beer from each CVS/Walgreens/ABC/etc that I pass.
