Wife and I finally pulled the trigger on a Caesars Laughlin Junket. $199 (includes hotel and flight for 2 people) from South Bend, IN to Laughlin. Looks like it's on a normal 737. I think you get off the place in AZ, get on a bus and end up at Harrah's.

The only time I've ever flew on a chartered plane is was for work. Small plan, 10 seats or something. Didn't go through airport security, went directly to the airstrip and went to the plane rental place to board. I don't think that is the case here.

I assume there is a bus on the morning we leave that will take us back to AZ to board the plane as well.

I also couldn't tell if there was a specified amount of play required to keep this free. We don't play much Caesars and planned to run to LV for one day to help my wife hit Gold with MGM. We plan to play mostly at Aquarius, but will play enough at Harrah's to not get dinged.

Just curious for those that have done this what their experiences are.

I know the users I’ve tagged below have all done the Laughlin charter. I’ve been there multiple times, but not on charters, and am part of other discussion groups about CET charters so I’ve picked up a thing or two. Your first part about the process of getting there is correct, in that you’ll land in Bullhead, AZ across the river and be taken across to the NV side by coach.

Cannot get enough of Laughlin, myself… so I can say you’re in for a treat! Make sure to spend some time at Riverside casino. The USS Riverside boat tour that goes from there is the best sub-$20 value in the entire valley in my opinion right next to the Clark County Museum in Henderson (which is $2.00 admission). They’ve also got a massive collection of vintage cars, a movie theatre, and a very “old school” feel with a lot of charm. The Prime Rib Room restaurant is also an awesome value with amazing views of the river. Easy to get to by water taxi from Harrah’s.

@notfromconcentrate - We spend one day in Laughlin in August and enjoyed it. The water taxi was great, Aquarius was a lot of fun to play. Briefly stopped at Edgewater. Harrah's was fine, it's where our free room was. It's also where we got a ginormous slice of pizza from Pinup Pizza. We'd love to do more, but due to the quick trip to Vegas for a night, we really only have 2 days in Laughlin, which I plan to spend as many waking minutes as my wallet will allow at their craps tables.

I however might check out the Prime Rib Room. That view sounds really cool.

I've done two (4 nighters), with a third coming up later this month. I'm not a Caesar's guy, I'm the +1 with a friend who brings me along.

I was a bit disappointed in that I'd hoped Laughlin would be nickel craps player paradise. The only $5 table I've found was occasionally Aquarius. (The one exception was late on a Sunday night at Harrah's before an 8am flight. Otherwise we found Harrah's tables expensive)

It was fun, but has sometimes been hard to find craps and roulette tables open during the day. We've taken to renting a car and shooting up to Las Vegas for a couple days.

As far as the level of play required to continue them: my friend really gives minimal play to Caesar's, much more to MGM. We're both surprised that his offers keep popping up, but we'll ride them until they stop.

I was on a junket from CLE in August. There was no written "expectation" of casino play but I must have played enough because I get junket offers every few days. My trip report is here

Our bus left early to go back to Bullhead City airport but they do have a snack bar at the airport. I recommend the packaged Italian sub. I didn't get sick.

You are required to gamble anything - but if no play - then future offers will suck.

we have done them a couple times...enjoyed it. We took a 2 hour dinner cruise on the colorado river and it was very enjoyable...they fix your meal right on the riverboat..our steak was super!. Had a bar on board and a DJ. Think we went to all the casinos at least once. The river shuttles are the way to go to the casinos that are a ways away. Looking to go to another in the next couple months.

I assume this has been during the Pandemic? Before Covid, $5 craps tables were very common in Laughlin.

From everything I’ve heard, the only $5 games you’ll find even somewhat regularly are carny games :( I went to Laughlin twice pre-COVID and it was an absolute haven for $5 games of just about anything back then

We regularly go to Laughlin on Harrah's junkets and we love it but we're old so we fit the demographic. The junkets are very well organized. You are picked up at the airport and transported to the hotel; bags are dropped off in your room. If you can request a river view in the south tower, please do so. I can spend hours just watching the activities on the river. Harrah's is not very close to the other casinos so you'll have a long walk if you want to go to the riverwalk. The best advice I can give you is to rent a car at the airport (the car rental companies used to pick up and drop off at the hotels but, post COVID, they no longer do so). If you do rent, go over the bridge to AZ to get gas. It's much cheaper there. Public transportation is very limited in Laughlin. There are lots of things to do if you have a car; Oatman, Bearizona, Davis Dam, Keepers of the Wild in Kingman, the jet boat tour to the London Bridge at Lake Havasu are a few of the things we like to do when there.

For those of you that have stayed in the south tower, could you tell me what type of coffee pot they provide? I noted that there is one in the info for my upcoming trip, but could not see it in the pix of the room. I usually take my own little pot, but would be happy to just take the coffee for this trip. Thanks!!

Has anyone rented a car from in the laughlin area lately?

    Curious about availability/wait time.

I recently got an offer for a free weekend ($70 administration fee) and figured what the hell, let's do it.

Never been to laughlin before so any tips or advice appreciated.

Should i expect to pay resort fees? I don't gamble much with CET so getting them comped not likely.

I've been there three times in the last 12 months as the +1. We always reserved a car for a couple nights in Las Vegas or an Oatman visit. It was no bargain, but last time Hertz let us return the car after hours -- we could've kept it free for an entire weekend, I suppose (was due on Sat.).

There are a couple windows in the airport (Hertz and...Avis?), and an Enterprise office about a $20 Lyft away in Bullhead City. When we returned to the airport we asked the guys at the window for a shuttle -- the Riverside will send a free one for you ($2 tip), then you can take the river taxi back to Harrah's ($5).

Both times we cabbed / Lyft mid-trip to get the car; if we go again, we've resolved to get the car on arrival, if open. It saves the back and forth, and gives you a little more time on the God awful early call on departure day. They collect bags and bus you (10 minutes) to a deserted airport so you're there 2 hours early, despite the fact that you'll be the only flight that day.

Edit: They were CET trips to Harrah's, the cost covered flight & rooms, no resort or additional fees.

Also, if you want a car, reserve it in advance -- there are only so many cars in Bullhead City...

Thanks for the response @Calder. Best deal I'm seeing on rentals is $75/day
