Yeah, that's why i qualified with IF all numbers would be called the same. This sounded like a random roll in reality. If there is bias, then the crew are assholes.

I've never seen a roll that didn't cross the midpoint of a table called Valid.
Newbie young girls get a lot of passes at not hitting the wall. (twss?)

When I first rolled live craps, I got chastised right away. It was pretty annoying. If I was a "dice setter", I wouldn't be betting the table minimum!!!

The friendliness / crankiness of pit crews and bosses vary wildly, between shifts, some are just cranky,
tipping dealer bets definitely does not hurt.
also knowing your bets and the rotation of the payouts first.
First they pay, then you bet.
Unless the stick is free and you're going inside.

the height rule is generally no higher than the dealers eye-line,
was goofing off once and had the dealer going up on her tippy toes.
If you can manage to entertain the box man, you'll be ok.
    unless you run too hot.

JMHO : Don't take sweat too personal. It's not personal. It's strictly business.

oh, and if you're a losing whale, you can get away w. a lot.

We've been experimenting with the hypothesis that the more you tip the more good karma and general positive energy from the people you've tipped pay off in lucky winnings.
Results are still pending, we need a larger sample size, but initial results are promising..

I think I started to keep track, then realized I'm getting down to slot level HAs.. I stopped keeping track. I still tip hard. Dealer bets keep them paying attention and on your side.

I can understand if the dice went past the boxman, but didn't hit the wall. They should just tell the shooter to hit the wall. But if both dice don't even reach the other side of the table, they should automatically call, "No roll." At least the players would understand why it wouldn't count due to the the blatant mis-roll of the dice. Casinos should typically appease their customers. In the long run, a satisfied customer will make them more money than a pissed off one. I'm one of many who doesn't revisit establishments with which I am dissatisfied.

That would have frustrated the hell out of me. Sometimes they chastize the player that doesn't throw a "Hail Mary" and yet, let that get by. I would have colored up and ask to see the PB. Explain what happened, why I'm leaving and go.

I have decided how to deal with this. Bally's is my go-to stay on the strip (large rooms, great location, no resort fees for me), I will be back again and again. Although I won't play there again this trip I will on future one's (especially if drinking).

This roll was the direct fault of the crew. They absolutely should have called a no roll. They cost me $150. I just will not tip again at Bally's when I play. As I usually tip about +/- $20 per session, that will do it in a few years. (5 days here I've tipped almost $300 :eek:) Keeping track has put things in perspective.

Been here a week and haven't had breakfast. That changes today.
    The Stove: (Henderson)
An institution down here, I arrived just as they opened. Weekends can take an hour to get a table.
Recommended, the mason jar french toast. (I don't know what makes it 'mason jar')

Good, but Mr. C's (@eliza 's recommendation) runs circles around this place.

    Time for the G2E...

I have a hard time believing if that roll had been a winner for the pass line instead of 7-out that they would have allowed it... o_O

Registered but exhibit halls don't open until tomorrow. Got tickets for later to Area 15 - Van Gogh immersion exhibition for 3:00 today.

Wasting time beforehand at Palace Stn.
Beautiful new 9/6 JoB machines, $10 craps w/10x odds, nice atmosphere.
    +$400... thankfully.

    Area 15:
The Van Gogh immersion exhibition was unique. You're in a large open room (like a ballroom) and it's projection of his art work. But it comes to life as the trees sway in the breeze, the boats move along the water, the pictures peel away to show how he painted a scene at sunrise, sunset, Spring, Fall. Then outside the canvas parts of his art come to life. Light narration and heavy classical strings accompany. $35. That's the cost of a place bet on the 6! I won't remember the place bet but I'll remember this. If you like Van Gogh’s work it’s a definite do.

    Bardot:
I returned for steak tartare and pate de foie gras. I was disappointed. Never having had steak tartare before I didn’t know that mustard is a major ingredient in the mix. I’m not a fan of mustard (ketchup on my hotdogs, thank you), especially Dijon mustard. The pate was a cold sliced slab with some shaved black truffle on it. Sorry, foie gras is almost all fat. Being cold you miss the nuance of the flavor. I complained and they took it back and brought me a classic foie gras. It was the usual US foie gras, okay but nothing near what I’ve had in France and at some other upper-end French restaurants.
I did have a glass of their fantastic house red wine. And lastly, I watched just about the most skilled bartender I’ve ever seen make a Manhattan. OMG, I’ve never had a Manhattan made like that…so I ordered one. BEST MANHATTAN, EVER. Watching him make classic drinks brought a whole new mind-set to me of what a skilled bar tender is. I’ve really never seen one in action…some who thought they were skilled, but not like this.

Lmao. My phone died in the middle of my last post before I got Bardot in and cleaned it up. Good now. Fell asleep at 7:30 pm, up and showered at 1:30 am. Finish phone charging and I'm off for a new day. Did I mention I live like a cat?
