Pool time was great!! I swam in the larger pool (North pool?) and the warm saltwater was lovely. A bit busy but spacious enough that I actually got a swim in, across the whole length of the pool. Fun vibe and music. Every day is gonna have some pool time!

Time for gelato! It’s never too early or late for gelato.

Does it mean one goes to Vegas too often if the titos from the last trip are still good? I had four; took care of Park and Excalibur today. Aria and Bellagio probably tomorrow.

lots of losing at various slots but got the biggest single spin win on this odd old storm slot. Much lost on VP also. Still within budget for the day but losing isn’t fun!

Dinner at Bavette’s, then I think I’ll try the Italian bar for an Aperol spritz.

 

Interesting-it was a dollar higher than the huge sign by the taxi stand.

Bavette’s was amazing delicious, as it was last time. I had the spring greens and apple salad, the Duchess cut filet cooked medium rare, and a Green Flas brewing West Coast IPA. All was perfect! Service was, well, perfect too. I took my time, and my main came out just as I was expecting it. Great timing.
After Bavette’s, I tried to use the solo bubble craps machine but I could not figure it out despite reading all 14 pages of rules. So I went to the other type of machine, where it’s shared and had an HUGE roll! 7, 7, 7, point after point, 11, then, finally lost. Got a fist bump! Made over half my buy in, making up for some earlier losses.

Funny thing….last great craps roll I had? Also right after dinner at Bavette’s!!

I’ve been up since 5am. Probably play a few more hands if triple play Bonus Poker, then bed.

 

Tomorrow I have a lunch reservation at Milos in the Venetian. Planning to have an early breakfast here at Eataly then check for real craps at my level ($10). Uber/Lyft up to Circus Circus (I’ve never seen it in a dozen visits!) and then Resorts World and make my way to Milos by 12:30 for lunch.

Morning! After my usual Eataly coffee and pastry breakfast, I was reminded that my college kid was doing her first college radio show this morning! Had to rush back to the room for earbuds and attempt to tune in.

all BJ $15; crapless craps only and at $15, at Park.

I ended up grabbing a seat outside in the Aria courtyard, to listen to the radio show.

More gambling to come! And lunch at Milos!

Nice, I need to explore more of Eataly, so far have only enjoyed the fried food place and the pasta place

 

….and now I’m down thanks to slots. Maybe I’m not playing them right? Is there a strategy, like you have to be willing to take losses to get a chance at a win?

Everything everyone has said about Estiatorio Milos was true. I just had an amazing lunch!
