Yeah, its the same suite I had a few years ago the last time I stayed here. It kind of feels like a grandparents living room, lol. But the media room is nice

Quick recap: felt much better after eating a little food and decided to hit the Palazzo high limit. The casino is pretty busy tonight. Sat down at a BJ table with another player. played a little oer two shoes, up and down, but stopped playing while up. After that, I went back to the high limit lounge, got a couple red bulls to take back to the room, and started to head up. but I passed the same Bj table and couldn't resist. I threw the dealer a chocolate, asked for five yellows in return and decided what the heck. After less than ten hands, I was up another 6k and decided to call it an evening.

Sitting on the bed in my suite now. I am going to try and wake up early and hike to Cosmo to pay off my debts. Then a meal at Bouchon!

I am also starting to wonder, is Vegas the last place on earth that runs phone sex ads on tv at night? Have they not heard of the internet? Also, phone sex ads on Cartoon Network? Even after midnight? Is that the target audience, lol. Anywho, going to crash. More tomorrow

No. The years I do that, I usually wait til March. Betting in October who will win in June is too much of a crap shoot at this point. Might as well buy a powerball ticket instead lol. The only reason to make that wager now is if you like some longshot that might turn into a real contend by next summer. The current lines on the favs are usually pretty much the same in March (unless there is a mjaor injury, which is the risk of betting a fav now). In a couple weeks I will make some win total bets though

Busy morning thus far. Woke up and took a few pics from the suite windows as I got ready

Then I gathered my monies to pay off the Cosmo markers. Good bye cash. It was nice knowing you

Strip was very quiet that early. So the walk to Cosmo was uneventful. Got everything paid off and took some pics on the walk back

I'm exhausted and hope to take a power nap before the Bama/Ole Miss game. So another brief installment:

After returning from Cosmo, I still had tie to kill before my Bouchon reservation. So iwalked to the Venetian side high limit, found a BJ table with a couple other players, and went to work. It did not go well.

It wasn't consistently bad. it was just win one, lose win, win two, lose four! That kind of pattern. I hit a couple good splits and blackjacks to say competitive but that did not last. Soon, the other players were felted and I was down 20k at the table. So i took out a marer for 70k and fired back harder! Not a good idea. I went down more! Evntually, I battled back to where I was only down about 13k for the trip. that was a good point to take a break and head to brunch!

I was going to ask why you needed to go to the Cosmo in person to pay off those markers. Now I know!

I did have a long trip a few years back when I played at different places and won at some and lost at others…Caesars host said congratulations on your big win! I said thanks, I’m taking that cash to pay off markers across the street at Aria and Bellagio lol. I marched up to the private cage window at Aria with what I considered a big amount of cash and they kinda shrugged. Any amount of cash you can carry is routine for them.

@UKFanatic - I appreciate your honesty. Sharing with us the other side of variance. I, for one, get caught up ooohing and awwwing your comps but these posts remind me it’s too rich for my blood.

I’m hoping you have a big come back. Go get ‘em.

Sadly, the cash today is far from the smallest sum I have carried into a casino to pay off markers lol

So after losing at the tables, I had rbunch at Bouchon. Its always great! But its been a couple years ince I last ate there. I had forgotten how filling it can be!

Both the indoor and outdoor seating was packed today. Glad I had a reservation. actually, the whole Venzia tower seemd busy. I have never seen so many people checking into rooms in that tower. Anywho, I considered ordering breakfast, but that was basically what I had at dinner last night. So instead, I ordered avocado toast and a cheese danish. After I placed my order, the lady at the table next to me got her plate and it included some awesome looking french fries. So i waved my server back to the table, told her to add an odder of fries and package my danish to go. I was very pleased with this plan until they also brought me a loaf of excellent bread! I love bread (and jam and butter). So i filled up on bread before any other food reached the table. Fortunately, the avocado toast was small. it was also the best avocado toast I have ever eaten! I ate a few of the fries even though i was already full. And the danish is sitting in my suite to eat this afternoon, lol. So lunch is also covered.

After I settled up, it was time to go back to the casino and the canal shops ....

Before heading up to the shops, I stopped back in the high limit on the Venetian side and decided to attempt a hit and run. It worked! Played half a shoe and cut my losses for the trip to 5k.

I colored up and decided to check out the shops. I like the variety and decor of the canal shops but quickly realized I wasn’t in the midd to buy anything. I went shopping when I was in town a couple weeks ago and I’m not the type to buy something needlessly. So I browsed a bit in my way back to the Palazzo side. Plus, I was almost eaten by a magical sparkle dragon
    FCB2F318-232D-4CE2-9F08-4073F8433B1C.jpeg

So glad I lived through that experience. The rest of the shops were not nearly as magical nor sparkly

Also got some nice lobby pics

Once back in the Palazzo, I decided to try another hit and run in the Palazzo high limit. Results were more mixed this time. There were lots of hits in bad blackjack hands and no runs.

I was quickly down another 20k at the table. So I pulled out the ten chocolates in my pocket and decided to really take some shots. Bet 5k. Won! Parlayed. Lost! That went on for a few hands until I bet a 15k table max. It turned into a double down that I somehow won. Whew!!!

The rest of the okay was yellow chips. I had one hand where I split to four hands, doubled on three of them, and won three of the four hands. After that, I was up exactly 1k for the trip. Time for a break! I don’t get to keep these since I owe 90k in markers, but I know you degenerates like a good chip pic. So here you go
    B2780559-537E-4395-B31B-0239EDCA7777.jpeg

After coloring up, I headed back to the room and now watching the Bama game from the suite. I can’t get the tv in the media room to work, but don’t really care. Stretching out on the bed feels better anyway. A few more pics from the suite windows
