Anyone else besides me excited that it's on Netflix? Woke up this morning just to watch. Didn't wake up at 3am (start time for ET) but got up earlier than normal to watch a couple episodes before getting ready for work.

I never really got into Seinfeld when it first aired (though I'm sure I watched most of the episodes, and I absolutely went to a party to watch the finale). And it's one super popular sitcom I've not enjoyed in reruns. So nope, not me.

However, there are many shows/movies coming online in October I'm excited about! https://tvline.com/lists/new-on-netflix-tv-shows-movies-originals/

It seems like we get it several times per day on various cable channels here. I've seen the entire series, most of them multiple times, plus I have a few seasons on dvd.

Ditto. I was debating whether to start with some of my favorite episodes. But decided to just do it chronologically.

I don't have it, or any of the usual suspect subscription channels, cable or streaming. I really don't have enough time, even with the pandemic, to watch a lot of stuff.

I am elated at this news, going to put on an episode now while at work (from home) lol. I must confess, I've never understood those who don't like Seinfeld, it's still hilariously relevant to this day and thanks to this show, we also have Curb :D.

Variety is the spice of life.

And all the characters on Seinfeld are assholes. For every funny moment I watched, there were 10 that made me cringe. So that's why I don't like it and don't feel the need to watch it again. I'm sure there are plenty of shows I enjoy that you wouldn't like either. And I appreciate that diversity ;)

In my not so humble opinion, most of the characters on Seinfeld are well-developed and very realistic.

They show human nature, and yes, human weakness, and can indeed be self-centered and selfish at times, as all of us can be.

IMAO, the series was meaningful and very entertaining, and did not jump the shark until its finale.

The episodes that are syndicated are completely chopped up. In some cases, entire scenes are missing.

Also, Netflix has the Puerto Rican Day episode, which you pretty much never see in syndication.

Count me as super stoked, even though I've had the Box Set for years. Probably gonna enjoy a Big Salad later while I watch.

    Thank you Mr Bania!
I watched the prime time and didn't miss an episode the first 4-5 years in syndication. At the time I was running a bar and the regulars watched everything sports, but, every afternoon the tv went to Seinfeld when it came on. Afterward it was back to Sportscenter.
I got my fill back then, although here and there I catch one.

If yer gonna have a hit, ya gotta make it fit! :)

And, when they released the series to syndication, they actually re-shot a number of scenes, for continuity, such as those of Morty Seinfeld and Frank Costanza, as they were originally played by different actors.

When it was on Hulu (no ads) a year or so ago, that is what we did. Start at #1 and work your way through.

Yea, it is on lots of other channels, but now you do not have ads and you can watch it in order.

One of the questions I ask persons of a certain age to decide whether or not I will like them or not as whether they prefer Seinfeld or Friends.

If they chose incorrectly, they are banished from my life forever.

Oh no. For years, we never watched Friends. But - it was on one of the streaming services with no ads. So we started at the beginning and got in to it.

    So, we like both. Bye.

    LOL!

Never paid much attention to it when it was on (Friends either for that matter). The 90's were an incredibly busy time for me. However, I absolutely LOVE both shows now... especially Seinfeld!
