    Hi everyone.
Planning on staying at the Mirage in FEB (Chinese New Year)for 4 nights.
    2 paid and 2 comped.
Booking through my Mlife app and it only gives me Resort King as the only King option.
Am I able to call the Mirage after I book a Resort King and request a Resort Tower King room?
Flying in on a SAT, landing around evening time. And didn’t want to risk having all the RTK rooms taken by earlier check-ins.
    TIA

You can request one, of course, but it's probably a tough upgrade during CNY and especially if your play only gets you 2 of 4 nights comped. They only have them on two floors so there are relatively few available.

    Hmmmm true. Thanks
    CNY is on 2/1/2022
But I plan on going maybe on FEB 20, 2022. So maybe I’ll have better luck.

I was about to say, you can request anything you want. But CNY is a major, major holiday in Vegas. And coming on a Saturday night likely makes it even more difficult.

    Ok, thanks
Can I call and book/upgrade to a RTK to ensure I have it when I get there?

If your question is do they allow paid upgrades over the phone? Yes.

If your question is there a guarantee that you can do this? No. That's based on availability.

Ah gotcha. I would do the paid upgrade if it guaranteed me a RTK.
Sorry for the confusion and ty very much

Previously they have sent me emails for a paid upgrade which I did take them up on and would in a heartbeat. I love those rooms. I can't recall how much but there is no harm in calling and asking if you are willing to pay for it.

Last trip out we did the $20 trick an got a pool/strip view and a few other perks but unfortunately there were none of those rooms available. When I asked about the room she kind of smiled and said words out on those rooms and everyone wants them.

All this must be based on availability. When I look on the Mirage site (I could be missing something) but both rooms are listed at the same price and sqft. I agree, when I booked through Mlife, the resort tower king was not an option with comped nights. So based on price alone, I can't see why asking would be an issue. As others have said, it is likely tough just due to the fact there aren't a bunch of these rooms.

Last year I called and they upgraded me for free based on my play. Wasn’t available online, but was when I spoke to the agent.

On a side note, has anyone heard rumblings if the rooms are going to be renovated anytime soon? If memory serves, its got to be pushing 15 years and my last stay there in 2019 the rooms were looking pretty beat up

Not meaning to sidetrack this thread, but I don't see a Resort Tower Queen on the Mirage website.. Assuming that doesn't exist? Just looking for that larger bathroom option, but need two queens.

There are a few (very few). They're not separately bookable, but a host can request one (although I gather it's not a guarantee even then- I did this twice and got the 2 queen room both times, though). If you're not hosted, you can call and ask about availability, but be prepared to either end up with a tower king, or drop down to a standard 2 queen if needed.

Thanks Basil, appreciate it. I'll just inquire at check-in. Not the end of the world, but if there is a bigger bathroom that fits in the same footprint and price - can't hurt to ask.
