ahhh it's all relative. the sportsbook at Park MGM is more or less just a sports bar that you can place bets at. there are plenty of TVs and i have no doubt that they'll put on whatever it is that you want to watch.

i've posted up there before without issue.

I have enjoyed watching games there…decent food and TVs. And no smoking

    right.

is it your traditional vegas style sportsbook? no - so if you absolutely need to have that experience then yea - it's probably not for you. take a ride down to Circa and you'll be in heaven.

it's more in line with the newer local books that are popping up around the country - a sports bar that also happens to take bets.

To be honest I didn’t watch TV at all….except for auto checkout. Seemed like a problem…glad to hear it isnt.

Yeah the sportsbook is a bar. And they did switch a TV over to a game that I had requested. Also they provided me with 2 free drink coupons when I made about $200 in bets. I’m not sure how that stacks up but I haven’t gotten anything from Bellagio sportsbook for similiar bets.

As always, ask, and give a couple buck tip. You'll usually do better at lower tier joints - tip $2 at Excal and you'll probably get 2-3 tickets.

Can you bet the horses as well? I haven't seen anything about offering the ponies.

no idea, honestly. possibly no as it is on the smaller side - but i only really bet the ponies on the big races so it's never been something i've pursued when i've been there.
