No, I went in as recently as two weeks ago in shorts and a Bill Murray shirt, nobody batted an eye.

Well... we'll see if I have a black mark on my caesars permanent record or something. I had an hour and a half argument with the floor about a weird situation with an Ultimate Texas Hold Em Hand.

Long story short the dealer didn't qualify and my "play" bet was taken away from from me. I'm allowed to be wrong and if I lose I lose. It's $25 after all. But I asked for the official rules. Dealer couldn't do it. Pit Boss didn't know where they were. Her boss didn't know where they were. The next boss said they don't give official rules out and I said that can't be possible in the state of Nevada. They got into a whole hissy fit that I was asking for rules and wrote a bunch of shit on a card and said come back tomorrow. I said it was ridiculous that you need 13 hours to come up with game rules for a game you have 5 tables of on the floor.

So we'll see what happens lol. Ah well. Might have burned a bridge with ElDo

No great loss there. The only time I am stepping foot in any Eldo property will be to get to the Forum Shops.

Your ante should have pushed and your play bet should have been paid. How can they possibly not know this?

6 people don't know it. And fine if I'm wrong but show me in the rules. Them getting mad because I asked where in the rules it says that just made the situation worse. Like how are they allowed to NOT give official rules on a gambling game? The last person said it was against policy. What?

I would have pulled out my phone and put in a call to the gambling commission right in front of them. Fork ‘em

I have to assume that the dealer's non-qualifying hand beat the hand you played, which was unclear in your recap. If so, they're right - you did lose, but they still should have been able to provide rules to show you. In UTH, the dealer not qualifying doesn't give you an automatic win like it does in some other games.

Don't you hate it when people insult your intelligence. "Against the rules" It is right then and there I would have lost my mind..

In other news last night. Met up with friend #1 at Caesars and we went to Amalfi, the new Bobby Flay place. It was very good but the fish is horrendously overpriced. My fish was one pound and cost over $70. You're also required to buy the entire fish. I like an idiot forgot to take a pic of my dish but I did take pics of the octopus and the Lemon Lemon Lemon dessert which was very good.

After that we tried going to the cigar bar but it was packed. So we just walked the strip a bit with some beers in hand until he was tired. He's on east coast time and needed to man a booth at the conference at 7:45am

Then I went to play UTH and you know that story already

Glad to see the wins evening out the Vegas Law of Averages. We have all had those losing runs and there's f+ck all you can do about it other than play through or never gamble again. Since the latter is not an option, it is nice to see the wins.
