MGM Park information needed. I'm seeing rates below $40 PN on a site ( Hotelopedia ?) and I'm not sure of the resort fee. Thanks

Park MGM is on the Strip between Aria and NYNY.

They offer a best rate guarantee and will beat that rate by 10%, so don't waste your time with booking 3rd party and book direct.

Their resort fee is $44.22 after tax

Park MGM is also 100% smokefree which is awesome (Unless you smoke then I suppose not). Good food selection mostly, Bavette's Steakhouse is amazing. Eataly is popular also. Best Friend looks pretty good too.

There is also a tram that connects you to Bellagio and Aria, and you're right across the street from NYNY with even more food options.

What info are you looking for? Are you asking if that’s a good price? About the resort fees?

That said, by the time you get to the tram station, you're basically at Aria already.

I'll second the request for what you're looking to find out. It's better than the Best Western Kent Narrows Inn, for sure. There is definitely a resort fee, you're not getting out at $40/night all-in. I personally don't love the property compared to Aria or MB, but it's very nice.

Was going to point this out...the stop for the tram is at the Aria south valet / self park entrance, but you can walk there indoors from Park MGM, and it's not a bad walk. Resort fee is $39 per night before tax I believe, or as someone else pointed out, about $45 including tax.

MGM took a great mid-level hotel and casino and turned it into a lousy, overpriced casino and hotel with a pathetic multi-million dollar redo trying and fancy renaming to try to jack up the prices. Well, they failed and can't get big bucks for the lousy job they did so they have dropped the prices and that didn't work either. So they have decided to try this hokey no smoking deal to get people to stay there. Still not working much so that scam will soon be over because they lost more people with it than they gained.

Prices will continue to drop until they sell it I would bet.

Someone will now buy it and demolish it and replace it with some other venture.

It was location location location. It is a piece of a larger strategy that included the Arena and the theater. It works for me. I’m anti smoke.

I’m still not clear on what the opening poster is asking. That site seems international and the “PN” indicates some non USD currency. Without context I don’t know where to go with this.

This is factually untrue. The place is consistently busy, and even more so on event nights (Gaga, Bruno Mars, Knights games, etc.). No smoking is a feature, not a bug, to many people nowadays. I'll agree that "ParkMGM" is kind of a stupid name, I'm not personally a fan of the rooms, and I wish that the NoMad Bar still did brunch, but it's definitely not a failure.

You beat me to it. Its actually much busier now than when the remodel first opened. According to a host I spoke with there, the nonsmoking policy is part of an overall plan to try and make Park the mlife resort that appeals to a younger audience. You can see that trend in other things they are trying there. From the times I have passed thorugh there, I am not sure they are really bringing in a young crowd. Maybe younger than the waning days of Monte Carlo, though. It seems they are still binging in a more budget conscious crowd. But whatever they are trying, it seems to be working

    PN = Per Night

Unless there is a big event, $40/night is about right. It's the remodeled Monte Carlo. If I was going to stay there, I would go with the Nomad, which is a hotel within a hotel on the top floors. Nicer furnishings than the Ikea-feeling furniture at Park MGM.

One of the negatives when it was Monte Carlo was the lack of sound insulation between rooms, and from some reports, little changed in the renovations. Let's just say if your neighbors are having an "it stays in Vegas" night, you'll hear everything.

"Hotel" is generous, but yes. Grasonville, I believe. I keep complaining about them in the hopes that they'll notice!

I’ve stayed 4 times since the rebrand. All ParkMGM.

    Decent food selection.
    Easy walk to other hotels.
    Mixed crowd. Younger and older.
    99 percent mask compliance.
Lower minimums than most places during the day.
Limited VP selection…if that’s your thing. Decent slot selection.
    Smoke free
    Haven’t noticed any room noise.
Don’t know about resort fees or pools.

    Any other questions?

    • great location if you like to casino hop.
    • still on the new side. i actually liked the rooms a lot although i can see why some find them boring.
    • try to avoid adjoining rooms as there seems to be a good amount of noise bleed through the doors. i had no noise issues on my stay in a non-adjoining room, and that room overlooked T-Mobile on a concert night.
    • i find the crowd sizes to be consistently average with occasional huge (and temporary) surges of people when there are events at t-mobile or the theater.
    • the bashing and poor reviews i think had more to do with their soft open (not everything was done when they started letting people stay) and the fact that it wasn't exactly the most revolutionary rebrands. they pretty much classed up the restaurants (although i really miss The Pub) added more convention space, updated all of the rooms and give it a paint job from the Vegas Message Board collection. it's not the Aria, nor is it trying to be. they went for a nice mid-range option that is more or less just there as a gathering place for people going to shows/sportsball games at the Theater and T-Mobile.
    • i liked Monte Carlo - this place is much nicer than Monte Carlo. anyone who says otherwise has revisionist history.
    • no smoking is great - wish others would follow suit.
    • when i went it was all kisok check in. not sure if it's still the case but just be aware of that. and this was before COVID

I spent a lot of time at ParkMGM on my last trip. (stayed next door at NYNY) I think the hotel is beautiful and could totally see myself staying there at some point. My favorite thing though was Eataly. Desserts, cheese plates, fresh pasta. Sold.

MGM Park has been getting some not great reviews saying the property is not clean, walls are thin and beds are low to the floor. So would I want to chance it or go with a property that I know ? THanks.
