Has anybody been to the main st station buffet yet? We will be going to Vegas Sept 20th wondering if it is worth it. Thanks for any info. Always liked it before don't know about now.

Appears still to be buffet-style. Was going to try it today but they were still trying to figure out new computer system. Working for 10 minutes with small group 6 or 7 ahead of us and we finally left. Will try again tomorrow which is our last day here. They updated POS system at MSS like they did Cal a couple months back.

I also am hoping others will chime in about the Buffet. I will be solo in Vegas Sept.26th-30th and I do plan on eating there. I also will report back on it, once I get back home.

    Prices & Hours per website:

    BRUNCH $18.99 Open Daily • 8:00am - 2:00pm
    DINNER $25.99 Friday & Saturday • 4:00pm - 9:00pm

Definitely higher than they were before, but they are also the only buffet downtown now. They also stripped the word buffet off of the web page which is interesting.

I didn't watch of the video but I did see an omelet station and they were calling the cook Manuel. The voice didn't sound like the cook I remember.

Great videos, thank you for posting those. So happy to have a buffet downtown again, I will definitely have to eat breakfast there at least once when I'm there.

Just watched it and thanks for posting. I was worried when they kept saying all the food was “good” or “just right” but hit the pumpkin pie review spot on……so maybe it is better overall…thanks again.

Thank you for sharing this. I like this couple. So down to earth, friendly, and unpretentious.

Nice to know the MSS Buffet will still be around. Sure, the food there is nothing to rave about. For me, it's the atmosphere and the decor. It's all a bit dated but the place is shiny, clean, and just provides that relaxing low key environment that I personally look for when I visit Vegas.

Throughout the video all I was doing was looking at the decor of the MSS Buffet and missing it very much.

I usually loved the MSS buffet, especially on seafood nights, but I always got them comped and avoided the long lines. If I can get my third Phizer shot, I could go back to Vegas toward the end of the year. But since Orleans and Gold Coast are my only free room offers at this point, I may never get to MSS.

One other thought. I have seen reviews of three buffets that are open from breakfast until early afternoon: Mss, Luxor, Excalibur. I think if I want more than just standard breakfast food, I need to show up around noon, and I'll see other items offered. And if I want eggs over easy, I think I can still get them at noon. Anyway, I weary with discussions of scramble eggs.

Eh, I will pass. I only do breakfast buffets, and at that price, just not worth it for me. Not a bad deal for people who do lunch though.

I would probably not be able to get my money's worth, and definitely not if I have to stand in a long line for it.
