The new Marvel movie was much better than I anticipated

Really looking forward to Clint's new movie

 

I'm going to see the new Marvel on Friday, glad to hear it was pretty good.

Definitely looking forward to the new Clint Eastwood movie (everything he makes is good), the new Venom, and the new Bond movie.

 

The Accountant 2, is reportedly in the works...it'll be hard to top the original movie...

 

Yikes, supposedly 2024 - wants to do a trilogy.

I'm so use to him making R rated film, and when the ad said PG-13 it was a huh?
There were a couple of others that caught my attention:

The Card Counter
The revenge thriller tells the story of an ex-military interrogator turned gambler haunted by the ghosts of his past decisions.
Paul Schrader directed the film.
American Gigolo is his most known directing film and wrote many of Martin Scorsese films

Small Engine Repair
Frankie (John Pollono), Swaino (Jon Bernthal) and Packie (Shea Wigham) are lifelong friends who share a love of the Red Sox, rowdy bars and Frankie’s teenaged daughter Crystal (Ciara Bravo). But when Frankie invites his pals to a whiskey-fueled evening and asks them to do a favor on behalf of the brash young woman they all adore, events spin wildly out of control.

Unsure if I will see the two aforementioned films.
They looked interesting, the 1st has high marks from critics (sometimes that means the public will not like the film)
2nd film is a Boston film (my backyard)

If they are only playing in downtown Boston, that leans towards a no.
Masks are required in city, no motivation to wear one inside while watching a movie

If they are playing in suburbia, better chance of seeing late show of at least one of the two.
These are small independent films, unsure if they could be streamed.
Unless football keeps me inside on a Saturday night.

Whoa... I'd like to see a plot involving the brothers...rescuing stranded hostages..., hacking into the Pentagon by the cyber savant (the Brit voice)...that would be epic...

I saw Respect 2 weeks ago --- it was so much better than I anticipated.

 

Keep dreaming. Not going to happen. The MCU has only had a couple of great villains. Loki, Thanos and Killmonger. The rest not so much.

 

Shang Chi was great. Now bring on the Eternals and Spider-Man.

 

I've been to a movie theatre once since the 1980's.

But I do have a copy of "Once Upon A Time In Hollywood" I'd like to watch one of these days.

The French Dispatch The trailers I’ve seen for this make me think Wes Anderson is getting seriously high off his own farts, but I guess I like the smell of his farts so…

 

Queenpins looks good. The premise is based on a real life scheme where a Woman made a lot of realistic looking counterfeit coupons and sold them to many People and made a fortune off of selling these counterfeit coupons. She ran a Counterfeiting coupon ring for a while before getting caught. Queenpins instead of it being one woman as the ringleader, it is two women running the Counterfeit Coupon ring. It looks like something to look forward to watching.
