Absolutely fantastic TR, the way you took the flight issue in stride is a testament to your character. You obviously are a VP convert now.

    Safe travels.

I bet it's a flight added to the schedule just for today to get people stuck in Vegas out.

Now that you're headed home, I have just one question on your overall impression of Vegas, mid-pandemic. Now, I'm not asking about any specific property, but rather a general thought, writ large.

What was the ratio of drama to titties? You can round to the nearest whole number...

If I had read this with a mouth full of water, my monitor would have been covered. Nice work.

Home sweet home Chicago. Just pulled up to the gate.

Work in 8 hours. Still have about an hour drive plus parking car situation

Man driving home was a bit difficult. When you're in Vegas for 7 nights and 8 days, all you see are lights, lights, lights everywhere.

So I was very much thrown off by complete darkness on the road!!!!

lol!! I actually always read the rules before playing a slot. I hate the feeling of a spin ending with something I think should have won, so ... I always check the rules first. Useful too, because sometimes a machine will have a "more wins with this extra $ spin" and when you check the rules, it's not that much of a difference.

    Enjoying this TR!!!

I'll catch up on comments and stuff another time this weekend but will do a quick final thoughts:

I got home at midnight, ate dinner, and went to bed around 2 in the morning. Then I woke up at 6AM for work, worked almost 12 hours all over NWI and Chicago. So, you know I never stop going, going, going, until I really needed to. What a whirlwind of 24 hours though - waking up in Vegas at 9am and the next thing I know, 6AM in Chicago and hauling ass all over!

Mom asked me if a week was too long. My answer was, honestly, no. As long as you get some wins here and there without killing your bankroll, playing moderately, then a week (or two) is definitely doable. Hell, from now on, I might add in a non-gaming day or two.

Cosmo was a fantastic hotel, great bed, great pillow (need to find out what it is), everything I hoped it would be and more.
Flamingo was not too bad except for the cold water, the smelly elevators, and crappy view. But it is what it is. Great location, close to Linq promenade with a lot of options, and great spot in Bugsy Bar for people watching and getting hooked on VP.

Fremont Hotel - can't judge. Didn't sleep there. Too crowded, so I bailed out of there. No biggie.

Aria - Decent bed. It felt cheap to me. Pillows were too big. It was like trying to break a Pokemon in half. Room temperatures were a bit iffy, but I am guessing faulty mechanics. I would definitely stay here in a suite for a couple nights. The only thing I didn't enjoy was the walk from the elevator to Crystals just to get to the strip. That's the way it was designed, so if I am staying for an extended trip, the room needs to make me feel like a baller. I am glad for the experience, though, so that's yet another hotel off my bucket list.

Spirit - shit happens. I need to fill out an invoice and submit it to them for review. Said up to 20 days to get a response. Not sure if I mentioned this, but the additional time at the parking garage cost me $65. AND I PAID $56 FOR A WEEK!!! If it doesn't go my way for refunds, you know I'll be hitting my pal @notfromconcentrate for some assistance in this! :)

Overall, this was a great trip. I went at it hard, was literally a walking zombie at the end, until Vegas (well, Spirit) decided to give me another 24 hours in Vegas. I was excited, but as soon as I hit the room, boom, sudden zombie mode.

I met and chatted with some wonderful people during this trip. Shout out to this family at the airport (the cancelled one) for assisting me with anytime they made an announcement as they knew I was hearing impaired and went out of their way to relay the information to me. We got separated at the end because the husband found them another flight, so we never got a chance to say goodbye :( If they are somehow on this TR - hit me up! I owe you.

    Frozen Bailey's is like crack.

    VP is like crack.

    So next trip?

An all day event with my fat ass parked at O'Shea's playing VP and sipping on them Frozen Baileys until the brain freezes or I hit a royal. Whichever comes first.

When is my next trip? No clue. I am hoping for a weekender in November, but we will see. I have a couple friends who want to do a weekender.

I might add some more to this later, but just eating my burger that I made on the grill (which is fantastic, by the way) and trying to stay awake via typing this stuff up.

I want to sincerely thank you all for following along, your words of encouragement. I like doing a live report is because I like to look back what I did and feel that energy, the moments (good and bad), and relieve those days.

Sure feels weird not having a beer in 24 hours though..............
