Finished up work. Had a frustrating day. We recently implemented a new system that was supposed to fix all of the problems with the old system. It didn’t. And it introduced all kinds of new problems as well. So I spent several hours today wrestling with the system and being generally frustrated. But all done for now.

Back to Blue Diamond Saloon for the Play $1,000, get $50 FP promo. I like this bar a lot. Lost $225 on the play, but love decompressing with some VP. The mango cart beer didn’t hurt either.

I spent so much damn time on that Rampart promotional game. Glad to hear one of our own won something, at least =)

Not starving. But knew I would be if I held off until my dinner reservations at 7 - so popped into Bluebei Sushi for their happy hour. Must be Japanese themed evening since I’m going to Mizumi tonight.

Looking forward to pink drinks and maybe a Penguins futures bet? I could never go to Vegas for two weeks, would put me in the hospital! Have fun!

Actually - these nights were from cashing in points I earned. I actually also managed to win the grand prize in the online drawing (score!). Need to figure out when I’m going to schedule that stay - has to be booked by end of year with the stay by end of next year.

Back to Eureka where I lost $220 on $900 coin in of $.50 NSUD. Oof. Won $25 in FP which I turned into $20. No good pics to share since I had no big hits and forgot to take a pick of my pink drink until it was already gone. Back at V/P and headed up to Wynn for dinner.

I honestly didn’t know this game existed. Seems like it might be dangerous.

Thanks for continuing to expand my vocabulary. A few years ago it was Pink Drink. Today it's "cacophony".

Be careful. I’ve been known to just make up words in my head and then convince myself they are real. But I’m like 90% sure that one is a real word.

Using my $150 birthday dining credit at Mizumi. I’m excited to be here again - really enjoyed it last time. They’ve updated the cocktail menu since I was here last - I’m starting off tonight with a kawaii cocktail and enjoying the “show” going on at the next table.

Oh @eliza I somehow entirely missed that you are in town until I just started browsing while I wait for food! I would totally have invited you to join me for pink drinks or food. I even had awesome pink drinks at Beauty & Essex the other night lol. Enjoy that birthday dinner; I'm sure it will be great!

So much food! I was good and tried to pace myself and still left half my entree behind. #NoRegrets. I did the seafood trio again and it was just as fabulous. Appetizers came as three small portions on one plate vs three separate plates last time, but honestly this was much better in terms of food volume because this time I was just overwhelmed rather than hopelessly outclassed.

And a half bottle of Cakebread Chardonnay. Because I have a birthday coming up and I’m using that as an excuse to treat myself. Apparently all month. #FrostYourself

Love this TR, @eliza! Did you have to stop at the WynnCard desk prior to dinner for them to “load” the $150 Platinum credit, or was it already there? I assume at Mizumi they just swipe the card to apply the comp?

I’ll be utilizing my $150 at SW next month, so just curious. Thank you :)

I used mine at SW this past July. The procedure if not staying at Wynn/Encore is make a reservation first, then go to the Reward Desk prior to going to dinner to have the comp loaded, at dinner tell the waitperson that you have the B-day comp and present your card. I believe (but not positive) that if staying at the resort that you charge the meal to the room.

    It was a great meal.

Just like @bruceb said - if not staying at Wynn go to desk and get the credit loaded to the card. This was a super quick transaction - definitely something they are used to.

Dessert. So yum. There is something decadent about dining alone.

I had lost $30 at Wynn slotting around before dinner. And thought I was done gambling for the day, but figured I’d do a loop around Venetian to walk off some of my food coma before bed. Good decision. Up $725 slotting around this evening. Score! Back in the room and I’m about five minutes from crashing - trying to work up the energy to draw a bath. Eventually V/P is going to realize I don’t actually play enough to justify the comps they are giving me and I’m going to miss having this tub.
