October 2021 Roll Call

I’m in. Always up for interacting with other VMB folks. plus Wynn so a no brainer. Now if I could just skip work for 3 weeks.

 

Anyone want to play a round of golf October 7 or 8?

 

October 6-9th Caesars

 

Oct 3-6 for a birthday solo trip. NoMad would only comp two nights, so I picked Park with some freeplay and resort credit. Looking forward to Bavette's, Eataly, no-smoking casino experience, and hopefully, regular craps instead of crapless (which was all I could find on my April trip).

 

Oct 1-5 for the Annual (except 2014 and 2020) Poker Trip.

 

Bavettes happens to be my favorite restaurant for steak in Vegas. It’s probably more to do with the decor and ambience, because I simply love that sense of atmosphere of subdued lighting, the sense of place, and the knowledge that you’re about to go outside and play craps afterwards… great restaurant in my opinion.

I imagine the Park MGM will have its solid $15 craps table open 24 hours, but I heard that they have installed a crapless table. If that’s all that is open when you play, then I would personally refrain from playing the pass line and just place bet my numbers. Then it’s the same game for me.

 

I don't understand. If crapless craps is the only craps the place offers then there is always another casino next door. Leave.

 

Bavettes is the best!!
In May we stayed at NoMad and they had regular craps and crapless. In the morning hours it was just plain old craps but in the Noon hour only the crapless was running. both were running in evening.

 

Where you playing at? If it's not too crazy expensive me and my buddy would probably be down. We are also doing top golf if you want in

We may be interested depending on the decided time and location!
We are balancing my immediate family who are coming in on Sept 30th who are Vegas first timers, but we may be able to sneak away for a group pull! Keep me posted

 

I haven't decided on where yet or even officially booked my trip yet. I'll probably book this week and would be staying at the DTG. I'm pretty much down for any course under $200. Paiute is the one I have in mind particularly since I have never played there. I'll send you a PM once I book my trip.

Oct 28-Nov 1 NYNY. Gaga, Phish, Halloween.

 

Booked Oct 12 to 19.
Staying at Palazzo and Cosmo. It's been 18 months since we've been able to visit. I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas.

 

Hahaha…..meow…… Hoping for a successful venture…

 

Yeah, I did leave … and NYNY only had crapless open, and Excalibur’s $10 table of regular was full….etc. So that trip, I stuck to VP/slots. It didn’t feel comfortable to me to go downtown (crowds), and I didn’t feel up to the trek to Ellis Island. Hoping for better luck with craps in October!!
