Yea, my faith in them is a bit low. To be fair they haven't done me wrong at all yet, but based on others experiences and the conversations I've had with them on the phone I think I'd prefer to use someone else.

Any recommendations? Isn't Bell the same company?

    Any help is appreciated
    Thank you

I've had good luck with Kaptyn lately for sedan type Tesla rides. I heard Pres or Bell were off-loading their sedan rides to Kaptyn, could be confused though.

I agree communicating is difficult. I used them in June and all went smoothly. I found texting the most reliable.

i used Bell for my last trip a couple weekends ago, and had zero problems whatsoever. Driver was there at the baggage claim when we arrived and the other driver was at Cosmo about 10 minutes early to pick us up for return to the airport. I had used presidential in the past but I believe they are the same company now. I went with bell over presidential because I couldn’t book through presidential site at the time but could through Bell.

I've used VIP my last three trips. Never had an issue. My last trip a few weeks ago they were even early for pickup.

Yea, ended up with Presidential, mostly because all others were booked and we are arriving on short notice so I had to take what I could get. Fingers crossed.

Kaptyn owns both Bell and Presidential plus a couple of cab companies in Las Vegas.

I used Presidential in June and again just last week to an outlier casino/hotel. Excellent service PLUS a couple of ladies from Colorado had been waiting for a cab to go to LAS and were afraid they would miss their flight. I checked with my Presidential driver. He said if I didn't mind, he didn't mind. We all made it to the airport in plenty of time.

I’ve had excellent service from Presidential in the past. I usually book the Escalade SUV round trip airport special, via their website ($140). On my trip two weeks ago, we were picked up at the airport in the Escalade SUV, but for our return to the airport we were picked up in the stretch Escalade limo instead. No big deal, we just prefer the regular SUV. On another note, a few days ago when I went to book the transportation for my December trip, I noticed that the round trip Escalade special was no longer listed on their website. I called and the representative was able to book it for me (with the help of a supervisor). The price has also increased by $10, which still isn’t a bad deal. So far, I’m not impressed with the changes that have been implemented since ‘Kaptyn’ has taken over. Hopefully things will get better once all the kinks of the merger are ironed out!

I've had difficulty communicating with them lately, which twenty years ago wouldn't have been a big deal, but it's 2021. It's a bit baffling that they can't figure out how to merge their systems.

Presidential was always my go to, even last min trips literally booked like 1-2 hrs. before, coming all the way from the east coast lol... never had any issues until very recently. I started using Abraham Limo (ALV) now since my last 2 trips this summer, and while they do charge a higher premium, you can always expect a late/new model clean vehicle, professional chauffeur, and precise reliability. I personally don't go to Vegas to save money/get a "bargain deal", and highly value my time & efficiency overall, so ALV has definitely taken Presidential's place for me right now...

I have Presidential (Kaptyn) booked for this evening. However, I started getting automated texts with a DO NOT REPLY on them that my driver was dispatched last night. After a few of those, I get a text directly from the driver that he was waiting at baggage claim with my name on a sign. I texted back that he had the wrong date and I included a pic of my reservation text with the correct date. He apologized for getting the date wrong.

Odds that a driver will show up as scheduled today? We'll cab it if they are a no show and I'll dispute the cc charge. If they show up, fine, but that seems like a mistake that shouldn't happen with a well run organization.

I'll do my best to update tonight, but it may be a day or two until I'm back on this board. Those machines don't play themselves, you know!

We’ll, I’m happy with the service! Driver texted as we were taxiing and it was the same guy that had come the night before. He apologized again and he provided great service. I’ll use them again in October.

Used Presidential within the past week for my trip. Had communication and confirmation issues a couple months ago, which combined with other reports, had me concerned. But I am happy to say, there were no issues for my airport pickup and dropoff. The pickup was a escalade limo instead of the normal escalade. The trip back to the airport was the normal escalade.

Have used Presidential in the past but too many reports for me to feel comfortable with my first trip back since July 2019.

Booked with VIP because of @Raven888. The process was a little weird with the email form and whatnot but everything smooth so far. Will let y'all know in my trip report next week.

Been hitting up the Presidential (aka: Kaptyn) Tesla X lately for $100 round-trip…yes it’s a little more than riding in an Uber..BUT you can guarantee your ride is there waiting for you. (Especially nice coming home, so you can be sure you make it to the airport in time)

I stayed at Vdara last week and had an early flight home, so I needed a 5:00am pickup on getaway day.

I knew there wouldn't be any cabs at Vdara and I didn't trust any of the standard limo cos to be reliable in that situation. Point-to-point rides seem to be a weakness in general, never mind at 5:00am.

So I arranged a limo through the Aria concierge. I got quoted $68 all-in for a sedan before tip, so not much more than the regular limo cos after they add in all their surcharges. Maybe a little more than Bell and probably less than Presidential.

It wasn't an Aria house car, I'm nowhere near a big enough player for that. They use a corporate transport co called The BLS Company.

Car showed up 5 mins early and was a super-stretch, lol.

Just an option to consider if you need a reliable ride to the airport off-hours and don't mind paying a few bucks more. I never really sweated whether they were going to show up.

I've used Presidential probably 8 or 9 trips and never had an issue. We even hired them for several hours on our wedding day when we took pictures all over the Strip. Used them Oct 2020, Dec 2020, & March 2021 most recently.

However, their "merging systems" excuse has been a nightmare. We tried to hire them mid-July, mid-week and could not get anyone on the phone. We usually book online since it's so convenient but, of course, that isn't on their website right now, so I texted. Was told to call during off hours and given 2 blocks of time during the day/evening. Called and called and called for 3 days straight during those blocks and never got anything other than rings. So we booked Bell. Their cheapest package can't be booked online (the Tesla) but the SUV and up can. They were fantastic and I've booked them again for next month.

Might be completely done with Presidential now.

Yeah, their website has been a mess and getting in touch with them over the phone was rough for me for my trip in June.

Here is a tip for the phone that I discovered by mere chance and its worked like a champ ever since:

Call their number and when you get all the options for which button to push enter the option for getting in touch with your driver, it might be option #2. These calls seem to be prioritized and go through almost immediately. I made reservations and later confirmed my reservations using this method last spring. Both times the calls went through after only a couple of rings. Just thought I'd pass this along for all the VMBers who use Presidential.

I haven't noticed a drop-off in service since Kaptyn took over. My driver was at baggage claim on arrival and they were early at my hotel pickup. Both drivers were great. The driver who picked me up at LAS had no problem with me making a pit stop at CVS on the way to Encore. BTW, the Tesla SUVs are sweet. Plenty of room for one or two people and no big step down in service from the Escalades.
