Decades ago, one of my brothers had what he called his "beach lens" for his Pentax. It was a huge el-cheapo telephoto from Spiratone, a camera shop in Manhattan. It was very clumsy but it did take good pictures. He and his buds would go to the beach with it and use it to check out the "scenery", and actually took a few pictures occasionally. Nowadays, they would have been arrested/beaten up as pervs.

I'll confess I had a pair in my room at Cosmo last stay, BUT, that was for checking out fireworks across the Valley or whatever, or if we went to one of the wildlife type places, and never intended for anything creepy. As it were, they never came out of my suitcase in Vegas, and they may or may not STILL be in my suitcase lol

The better question is.... how do you think a creep would answer the OP's question?

Or Bart Simpson in "Bart of Darkness"!

I love pretty much everything Jimmy Stewart has been in. And this may be a minority opinion, but Rear Window is my favorite of all Hitchcock films.

Nope. What are they hoping to see that someone in person on the strip can't?

And if someone is stupid enough to be in their room naked with curtains wide open then that's on them. I would suspect that stuff is even traded on the internet.

So no I don't see anything creepy about it. People watching can be very amusing.

I have my dad's old binoculars, but I don't bring it to Vegas. I have enough junk to pack without bringing along something I probably won't use. Although on some trips, I pack my real camera with a 16-35mm zoom and a mid-range telephoto zoom lens (24-105mm), but it's doesn't have nearly enough reach as some of those massive zoom lenses so it's not that good for snooping on anyone from a very long distance. LOL

It's creepy if you're spying on people in hotel rooms. :lock:
