Long day. Won $50 playing $10 craps at ElCo. Wife did not do well at Slots. But we still have leftover money for tomorrow. We live to fight another day.

Today should be gambling downtown for the most part. Likely do Pizza Rock for dinner, no other plans today. Was hoping to try DTG for the first time, but they have their tables closed Tue and We’d.

Mae head to Laughlin tomorrow so we want to finish any business downtown before leaving.

Have a blast, and can't wait to see bathroom stall chip porn!! :drunk:...just the chips remember.... I was about to suggest DTG but I completely forgot what day it is. I love that table, and for my money the day craps crew is the best downtown. That's assuming they still have any of them with all this shutting down the tables nonsense. When I was there in May I know a couple of them had started splitting time with some strip properties, it would be a real shame if that crew got split because they are great.

9am and the D still has 15 dollar craps. Empty table.
Fremont is 10 with 4 players. 4Q and Binions not open yet. DT, your minimums disappoint me.

At Saginaws using our food and beverage credit. Pancakes and bacon for me, Cousin Jeffreys 164A383E-330E-4F53-95C7-FF3D6953DDF2.jpeg 051F92C3-591B-400D-91AE-F48BF6AD94F6.jpeg 164A383E-330E-4F53-95C7-FF3D6953DDF2.jpeg blintzes. Very good stuff.

Thanks for minimums updates, you've done a great job keeping those up. Unless I'm mistaken other than off-Fremont you haven't found hardly any $10 tables Downtown have you? Has the D or GG ever been below $15? I didn't really see $10 at the D in May, but GG was generally $10. I'm so disappointed, guess I'll be playing a lot of $15 craps in a couple weeks....heck, by then $25 may be the norm!!

Since you're at Circa, interesting to note that they are apparently removing some of the tables on the second floor.

I just saw that! You know, I've never seen those tables even used (granted, only been there in Feb and May) so its not surprising to me. I think reality is setting in a bit for Circa unless things have changed a lot since May. One thing I intend to do a lot on my coming TR is really evaluate Circa. To me while it has a lot of plusses there are an equal amount of criticisms as well.

Nothing 5 DT so far. Had to go to Ellis, Jerry’s or Cannery. I haven’t bee ln in the Nugget yet but they were always higher. Only went to GG once and it was 15 in the morning. D hasn’t dropped under 15z

there are 0 tables upstairs at circa

@Necrochaos I admire the spectrum of you staying at Delano and Vdara yet also El Cortez on the same trip. I like staying at downtown but my wife does not. Very differ flavors of Vegas out there.

Agreed. My wife likes a soaking tub, which is why we stay on the strip. Not many places downtown have it. If Plaza or someone had a nice room with a tub, might convince us to stay down here more.

We will be putting more play off strip to see if we get any good stay offers for our next strip.

IMHO, the strip is a tourist trap with bad gambling payouts, overpriced food and transportation. But there is still something about spending a little bit of time there.

I hate to see the current state of table minimums. I remember when I first started playing Blackjack there were always two and three dollar tables in every casino in Las Vegas. Many times I played dollar BJ downtown. It was a great way to get comfortable with casino gambling as well as cheap entertainment while on vacation. I know times change but I hate to see this. IMHO most of the new gamblers will be gravitating toward a machine of some kind or another and will never get to experience the pleasure of interacting with the dealers and other players. I think I have finally figured out why slot machines have taken over and the tables seem to be emptier and emptier. I mean even at $10.00 a hand a new gambler would most likely be afraid to give it a whirl. Oh well maybe when COVID is a distant memory, the frenzy to get Vegas dies down and table are back to seven open seats the limits will go lower.

If it was at Jerry's Nugget @Necrochaos might have emptied their cashier's cage of cash.
