I am trying to find out the name of a song... the only line I can remember is the end of the song -the last lyrics -and it says --- sounds like distant thunder. -- Its not about thunder I think its a love song or a breakup song... male singer (don't know who) and not sure what year either...haha--- can you help - no one else (my family) has been able to figure it out. I googled those lyrics but all I see is a gospel song and a country song -- neither is the song as I think its more of a motown type song...Its driving me crazy!

Bummers. I wonder if you got the lyrics precise. Personally I get them wrong all the time. All these years I got less than half the lyrics to Bennie and the Jets right.:goofy: What the hell is Elton saying.

Any other clues? Is it fast tempo or slow? When/where did you hear it? Tv show? Is he white or black? (this could be misleading)

It is a slow song.... I have heard it on the radio- mostly when I was in Philly/NJ not so much here in Florida and haven't heard it for at least a month - I am thinking its an oldie but cant be positive.... not sure black or white...and the last word in the song is thunder

fenway68 -- I wish it was Bob Seger but nah, its not the right one...

My husband thinks I imagined the song -- haha ---because no one knows what it was called....and I can't sing so I can't even try to sing it... crazy!
