I will give it a try! I was playing $25 a spin on slots and VP a lot last night/this morning but I really have more like a $7.50 budget this time. I do see folks hitting those machines. The fire balls look like pizzas to me. Lol.

So after breakfast I made my way to the Encore Spa. After a long hot shower I enjoyed a 2 1/2 hour massage/treatment experience with Nicole. It was a wonderful way to start to the day time portion of my birthday.

I asked if I snored at all and she said just "little snores." I am sure they weren't little (lol) as I had literally stayed up all night.

She has such extraordinary spirit about her. She reminded me that this weekend there will ne a Blue Moon and before my treatment began and as I was inhaling the wonderful aroma of the oil I selected she asked me to say to myself what I want to manifest this year. I did so.

She also presented me with this gift, which I will open this evening. I know there are chocolates but I believe some of the fabulous Mike's balt salts as well.

 

I wanted to share an important note regarding the Encore Spa (and I assume the Wynn Spa as well) and that is that the steam and sauna rooms are closed again. I don't believe that was required under the new state regs but rather something Wynncore is doing on its own. The showers and whirlpool tubs though are still open, presumably because the space is much larger and less confined. You don't need to wear a mask if you are in the whirlpool but there is a sign asking you to keep your mask on as you are walking around or heading to your treatment.

I love steam rooms so I missed that but part of my lengthy treatment included rinsing off a scrub in a private steam shower and I was in there for about 10 minutes. It was wonderful.

 

After the spa I headed over to Tableau to meet @dbueler for a late lunch. We hadn't seen each other since my April/May trip. It was great to catch up with her though we will be hanging together for meals and shows throughout my trip.

She had the Tableau Breakfast and I had the Lobster Cobb Salad with a Lady Luck cocktail.

I WAS lucky on August Moon on my $$ late last night/early this morning and was up a few thousand but gave it all back. If I get a second run like that this evening I won't do that again!

 

I also meant to add that the Wynncore promo this weekend where you get a spin for every 750 points earned has commenced. I earned 17k+ points with my play up until breakfast at Jardin so spun the virtual wheel quite a bit. About half of my spins were "Sorry, you are not a winner" and the other half were $5 and $10 Free Credit wins, totalling $60 in Free Credit. I played that on August Moon but she was dead again. I may see if she comes back to life this evening.

 

I walked @dbueler out and then decided to give Dollar Storm a try. She's now at 72k. I had about $300 on me so was doing mostly smaller bets but had some decent hits, including a hand pay! I ultimately gave that back but had fun playing for quite a while. I will return to Dollar Storm as well.

My BFF from law school arrives in about an hour. She is not really a gambler but we had a blast playing low limit Dollar Storm side by side for a few hours one night when she was here in late June for the trip with my mom so we may hit Dollar Storm tonight after dinner. We shall see.
