Great, now all I can hear in my head is :

"Hey! Smokey back here taking a shit!"

Fantastic wrap-up to an incredible TR. So comprehensive and entertaining, thank you so much for taking the time to write it.

It's on our future to-do list for sure! We knew ahead of time we weren't going to attempt it this trip with rideshares being iffy, having so many of us, and doing Vegas for the first time post-pandemic.

My brother-in-law and his girlfriend did go and they loved it! We're excited a Meow Wolf is coming to Denver and plan to see that one too.

    Cheers!

Amazing report again and thank you for sharing!

Curious, do you work at a church? If not, it's pretty remarkable that you have all three of your kids volunteer there.

Funny you ask, I do work at a church! I didn't always, but I volunteered for so many years in several divisions at our church, that I was finally offered a job. :kill:

Interesting aspect now that I'm an employee...you cannot volunteer in the same department you are paid for. I made sure not to work in the youth area (6th-12th grades), so that I can still be a volunteer in that part of the church.

Needless to say, I spend a lot of time in a house of worship between being an employee and a volunteer. :D My kids do too! Love those girls! They pulled off a mission trip in an underprivileged part of Colorado right before our trip. They were exhausted when our trip started, but got to recharge with the Cousins. :)

I guess when I'm not Vegasworm I'm Churchworm. Kind of an oxymoron.

    Thanks for reading!

Oh, and @teacher10, I'm not sure if your moniker means you're a teacher, but I was one for a decade!

7th grade science/reading until baby #3 came along and daycare for 3 kiddos was my teacher's salary. LOL. :D

Haha, I live in NY and basically one kiddo in daycare is equivalent to a teacher's salary. Thanks again for taking us along your epic adventure with your family. I'll promise to say hi to V or you next time I run into you guys. If your kids do another mission trip, please let me know. I'd love to make a donation for the cause.
