I'm sure it was as tough for you as it was for me to contain all of the exhilaration and excitement from the performance of soon-to-be-NFL-Legend Jordan Love last night at the St Patrick's Cathedral of football fields.

On his beautiful dart of a TD pass, he baited the entire Texans D into his domain (the pocket) and slung a side-armed beauty that not many QB's would dare attempt, let alone complete.

Kylin Hill didn't need to do too much because the toss was so perfectly placed...it's like when the UPS woman hands you the bills when you're doing yard work and she finally bothers to show up.

The poise the LOVE of my life showed was unlike any other and this man is ready to take on all comers as his confidence grows and grows. Just another legend in a hallowed ground of elites (Starr...Whitehurst...Majkowski...Favre...Rodgers).

    Love-2.jpg
I do have to give a little respect to Kylin here for the run after the catch (although he just had to follow a convoy like no other). This man reminds this fan a lot of another 32....Marcus Allen...only Hill has more talent, ability, agility, and skill.

Jump on board the LOVE Boat, y'all. Like Dr Dre once say, "you never been on a ride like this befo'!"

All I know is that, when he becomes the permanent starter, the theme is going to be playing after every TD pass or rush...and so there will be seasons I anticipate hearing this at least 65 times.

I know you have great hopes for him, and I hope that they come true, but he was playing in a preseason game against a team in disarray. We have an incompetent owner, a front office staffed with a moron or two, and most likely the least qualified head coach in the league. Oh...don't forget the player wasting reps in practice that other people could have who has a penchant for some weird ass massages from unwilling participants (it appears; innocent until proven guilty...but he still should not be wasting reps since he has no desire to play here anyway).

Moving JJ Watt was the period at the end of the sentence...the chances of going to a Super Bowl any time in the near future aren't even something that is possible.

My two teams have shit owners. The Football Team and the Texans...

Yeah, that should work out well...

I think that Kylin Hill could be the next Eric Torkelson speaking of great GB RB's.

Well Mike that offense was just loaded one of the all time most talented in my memory:
You had John Hadl throwing to the super duo of Bob Wicks and Ken Payne at WR and Rich McGeorge anchoring the receiver corps at TE, add in Eric Torkleson at RB and Barty Smith at FB and you had your self an offense that when firing on all cylinders was damn near unstoppable, if I remember correctly the Vikings Purple People Eaters Defense was no match for this electric offense but time may have faded my memory a bit.

I love the Packers this year. Rodgers may be the most committed he's ever been after his tantrum. He wants to prove everyone wrong and he has the team to do it. 14-1 to win the SB! The more I look at GB the more I like it. I've already put $100 on the 49ers to win the NFC at 6-1 so another $100 on their chief rival (sorry, Rooster, just not buying the repeat in TB with a 44-year old QB) is the right gambling move, IMO. I have to believe that if Rodgers can maneuver the NFC he can beat the AFC best, whether it's KC or Buffalo. The NFC team has looked superior in the last two SB's—SF one pass away.

There was a span of 3-4 years I praised Torkelson, but it wasn't necessarily because of the magic he made once he touched the football...it was for being a mentor to my second favorite GBP RB of all time.

Only The Hot Boy (De'mond Parker) did I admire more.

Parker still holds the honor of the single greatest TD celebration in team history and the fact he served a little under a year for the miniscule offense of selling crack doesn't diminish his impact a lick.

Don't underestimate the guy . Never bet against that dude, :peace:

That pass still haunts you. poor Jimmy , he had a great teacher , but in this case the student loss.

And another thing before the season starts the only guy that will beat Mahomes is The Goat. case closed . So save your money, bet the horses , you will do better there.:headbang:

So, Rooster, dinner is on me at Lakeside (Wynn) on the date of your choice if TB repeats. I could see KC winning, but a 44-year old QB and a geriatric coach—not happening. The NFL is way too tough.

And Bucco Bruce is one hell of a coach, a lot better than choke Kyle , let see what he does with an easy schedule this year ??? and finally my last note , you are not getting under my skin with THE GOAT,
    10 Super Bowls .
    15 Championship Games
It will never be done , not even Joe and Steve combined come close to those numbers. It is hard to believe those numbers :ssst: :ssst:

The three headed monster rushing attack of Sweet Eddie Lee, Gerry Ellis & Jessie Clark still gives this kid goosebumps.

And I know the Viking defense feared them as well.
