Mlife did not have a problem with it. This past weekend I was playing on hers and just handed them mine for a handpay. It happens all the time.

The issues are using Freeplay that is not yours or using comps/points especially when the cardholder is not on property

The benefit IMO to playing on one card is not so much better offers but the ability to "double dip" teaser offers. We did this with Wynn and currently doing it with Mlife. We played I think 15k coinin on a new mlife account this past Saturday. Looking for a good teaser so I can continue burning my offers (at Mlife) and maybe my wife can get a nice offer.

Also if for some reason you have a low play trip, you have the other spouses offers to fall back on.

Now I just wait til my kid turns 21 so I can triple dip :D

    1) You offers are the same now - but what if you put it all on one card - you then become a "bigger" player in the computer, right?

    2) Win/loss does not usually matter. It is possible she played more overall than you - higher coin in.

Tell them Bobby can be boy or girl. They spelled it wrong when they did your ID and you were in a hurry and didn’t notice it.

Play is registered to the same account, but offers are still generated for the individual player so for offer purposes it still appears as two separate players

This won't confuse the server as the server is told the machine that did the ordering, not the player. Location is done by the location code on the machine. Wife and I have done this everywhere we have played in AC with no issue. The only issue is at Tropicana where the requirement is to wait 10 minutes between drinks. This was a pain as we were both ordering but only one would work. Then there was a wait. Our workaround was one of us usually played at the bar.

Level gets you only level associated perks, play generates offers so she may have had a little more time or a little more play, but not enough to dramatically adjust your offers (there are ranges for each offer). Playing on one card together would have you or your girlfriend and nearly double the premier level she achieved alone which should bump her play to a higher offer level. For people who worry about traveling without the person who has the better offers, just choose different companies for who is the primary player. For instance I am the primary player at CET so my wife uses my card for all slot/VP play there and that gets me Diamond plus and nice rooms and back end comps (she always has a few hours of rated table play for herself). At Mlife she is the primary player and we do the reverse and use her card for all play. Her Mlife offers are very good. The downside to using one of these alone is the potential reduction in play leading to reduced offers, but at least it's an option for us to both have offers.

Hasn't been an issue for us. Even when we get hand pay it's never been an issue.

Thanks-good to know. As soon as I put her card in and got the message that drink was on its way, I just changed cards.

I've always wondered if it was bad to use two of the same cards at once, my soon to be wife always uses my card when she's playing next to me and we haven't had any issues at Cosmo or M-life thus far. Good to hear that others have had the same experience

It's not bad to do, but it is technically against the rules of the players club. From what I can tell, I don't think they much care if it's husband and wife or even just 2 people. I do think they would care if it was multiple people in a single day all playing. The casino knows what machines the card is in, it's how your host can find you when you're playing, so they know if your card is in 2 completely different locations at one time. They would also know if you were in 4 or 5. I remember one time my host went to visit my wife instead of me since she was playing on my card and said hi to her and said " he must be at the other machine, I will go see him there". So even hosts are aware. I think as long as it's not crazy abusive they let it go.

I’ve always wondered if I do a mini-group pull with 4 friends (so 5 of us), and all play goes on my card (one machine at a time of course), would they care?

Thanks for this question. I was just thinking my decent offers might become good offers if I had my wife use my card. I figure I could just give my wife her half of our free play in cash to avoid card issues, but it doesn't sound like there are any.

Thanks everyone for all the good information as always.

This is a common occurrence. It is customary for the host of the group pull to be given the privilege of getting "credit" for the high volume of play, which is often enough to get a really nice offer for next time (or more back-end comps if staying at the place where the group pull takes place). I've also heard of a preference of having a non-US citizen have their card in the machine in the event that paperwork (W-2G) gets involved because of taxes.

In short, the casino generally doesn't care in the event of a group pull. At least one casino downtown actually has marketing staff who are well aware of group pulls (since the filming of them has to be approved by them). A different place on the Strip is less officially involved with group pulls, but is very tolerant of them happening and of the filming of machine play without special permission.

They would have no idea that different people are actually playing - unless they were specifically looking. All they know is that a card is in the machine and money was bet. All tracked by computer - not humans.

Well me and my gf are flying out this morning to the Golden nugget. She is premier level, so we will go get another one of her cards from the players club and do some real life testing of this theory.
Hopefully she will agree to use my card at cosmo.

I have never seen any casino problem with two people using one person's card on machines. If you cannot convince your GF to agree to use your card at Cosmo although you have agreed to use her card at Golden Nugget, you may have more relationship obstacles than comp hurdles.

We always both play on my husband’s card. He recently reached Diamond Elite. We used to only play at CET when in Vegas but in the ost few months discovered a local Harrah’s that we actually enjoy. Had we started going in January we would have definitely made Seven Stars this year. My question is…is it better if I now get a card and we play on that and reach Diamond or continue to play on his card for the rest of the year? I don’t think we’ll get to Seven Stars being this late in the year. So are 2 cards better? We always travel together. Thanks

At certain play levels, and properties it makes sense to have separate accounts, especially if you're interested in longer stays at one hotel. Book those offers back to back. A lot of places hand out basic room comps like candy, and require large bumps in play to get significantly more.

Depends what you are after and how you travel.

Keeping in mind that comps/offers are tied to ADT and NOT to tier level, you may or may not want to do something.

By keeping play on one card, you look like a bigger player. And, a bigger (ADT) player gets better offers.

BUT - if you are careful and keep each account high, you can double up on some offers.

Confusing? Yea. If you almost or always travel together for example, getting 2 rooms in Vegas does not usually work since you only need one. If the ADT is high enough, you canget suites, etc.

Signed up for Mlife card on my last trip. Asked there what was the best option for my spouse and I, they recommended printing off two cards for us under my name. Even when we upgraded tiers on that trip, they had no issue printing us two copies of each new card.
