    My Trip Report

We're excited. Our last Vegas Adventure was in November 2018. We have a trip planned for late October. An offer for 3 comped nights at Paris popped up. This instigated planning an August trip. No Vegas for 2 years. Now two trips separated by less than 3 months. We're excited.

When we hit town I'll be posting details and photos of our adventure.

We’re sitting at Gate 11. A boarding passes. Flight leaves at 8:38pm, 23 minutes later than the reservation. I’ll survive. Self Checked the bags. Easy. C5A16BAA-9B70-4F07-A1C5-CFDF161EB120.jpeg

We arrived approx 9:40pm local. Baggage Claim was rapid. Grabbed an Uber. Bit of a hike. $16:21 for a quick ride to Paris. We are sitting at the Americano Cafe now. Pics from the trip over and the room window. 29th floor. First food pic. We had hunger. We didn’t want a big meal so late. We split this little feast. Burrata and Avacado Caprese salad heirloom tomatoes, fresh burrata, basil, avacado olive 72141AFA-95BA-4919-8BF9-F95718425827.jpeg oil and balsamic. Decent chicken tenders. Expensive late evening meal. Salad $16.00, Crispy Chicken Tenders $19.00. Kept us going for another hour or so before we hit the wall.

She’s playing DDB with a wacky pay table. You must risk 10 quarters to get the good payout. We played for an hour. She is pleased with a couple
of 4OAK wins. She’s up about $220. I let my first Benjamin grow week until he was down to $30. Called it a night. In the room chilling sleep is near.

Up and moving slow. I’d hoped to use the spa this am. They do not open until 9:00am. $50 fee. No thanks. I have often used the spa early mornings, 6:00am, with no charge. A little disappointed.

Some pics of our messy room.

They charge to use spa facilities now ? Thought that's what resort fee covers Always went to use steam room and showers after a bender.

mike mc - yeah, I always used the spa. Part of resort fee I guessed. New company running the spa. On previous trips I loved jumping in the jacuzzi, cold pool, jacuzzi then the sauna and steam room. Then shower and shave and get stoked for a new day. Not this trip.

We just finished eating at JJ Boulangerie. Playing VP DDB.

After JJ Boulangerie we went next door to the CVS in front of Bally’s. Grabbed a case of water and lugged it back to the room.

We found some decent VP DDB machines near the Sports/Race Book and played for a good while. I surrendered another $150 playing at the quarter level and $ level. So far I’m down $310. She’s close to even maybe $50 ahead. 12:09 pm local. We’re in the room lounging.

We’ll head over the Bellagio early evening. We have some FreePlay to use and a MyRewards for gelato. Pics and updates will be posted.

Pic of the machine I began my quest for CET’s money.

We’re in the Bellagio casino. We couldn’t use our FreePlay because we not staying here. No bueno por nada! She’s sitting at a Blackjack machine. Up and down.

Next stop is Lemon Grass at Aria. 2for1 MyRewards dealio.

Pics outside Bellagio on the walk over and a shot of the Chiluly glass installation in the lobby.

That caprese salad looks awesome. I may try that for a lunch. Which restaurant did you get that?

We enjoyed our time at Bellagio. She played at a Blackjack game for 30 or so minutes. Ended even for the session betting .25 and $.

pics are from our meal. Very tasty spring rolls, she had a fine Merlot. I sipped a well constructed Old Fashion. Japanese whiskey infused with lemongrass. The Thai bitters complimented the whiskey well. She loved her Fried Rice Soft-shell crab. My Red Curry Beef was awesomely flavorful yet, the curry didn’t over power the beef and abundance of vegetables. Great meal. After deducting our MyReward dealio we spent $92. This included a generous tip.
