Has anyone here stayed at a Bungalow or Villa in Las Vegas. highest I can afford is MGM Signature, I’m just wondering what exactly you’re getting for the huge prices of a Cosmo Bungalow, or say a Villa I’ve heard you get Butler service, concierge service etc.
Many times, though never on my own nickel. First, bear in mind that most people staying in those rooms are not paying for them. As far as amenities, there is indeed butler service, the major benefit of which is that you can get food brought up from just about any restaurant; they'll go off-property but it'll usually cost you. The Cosmo bungalows used to have a gate that opened directly into Marquee Dayclub and would get you into the nightclub as well, but they did away with that a couple years ago.
Yes, Mirage Villas, Bellagio Villas, The Mansion at MGM, and Wynn Villas. As 44inarow mentioned most people who stay in these accommodations are guest of the casino and do not pay a nightly rate. They do include butlers and VIP concierge services that can arrange for almost all request. These accommodations are designed for the casino's largest players who normally travel with an entourage thus the large stately accommodations with several bedrooms. The biggest appeal to these accommodations is the privacy and not having to use the public facilities of the resort for most of their entertainment. Chef's will come in and prepare meals or the butlers can arrange for room service from any of the on property restaurants as well as off property if the player is large enough. Direct access to VIP gaming salons, private pools, in villas massage services. For my use, the villas are a great way to enjoy Vegas when one is hosting a few people and want to have a private space to enjoy each others company. Otherwise, I just have my host book a one bedroom suite as I would rather spend the comp cost difference on spa, retail, golf, etc... Mr. Élite
I know a couple who stayed in a bungalow at Cosmopolitan. It was very nice, but they had to sign a very complete contract, including penalty clauses for bringing outside food and beverage into the suite. From another friend, if you are a decently high level player with a good relationship with your host, some places will comp you a ridiculous lanai if you're willing to come in on a very low occupancy mid week day, though you have to expect to pay, and if it ends up comped, it's your lucky day.
