Can anyone tell me a little bit about the Peppermill in Reno? Looking at a stay there in early August. I have a comped room booked at CET (Circus Circus) and despite my rate of of about $125 all in, that pool is looking pretty enticing. I may even grab a cabana for half a day if I stay there. Anyone got info or tips for me? How is the video poker? Last time I was in there it seemed a bit sterile to me but maybe I didn't do a deep enough dive in my haste to get to Atlantis and get my gamble on. Thanks.

We always stay in the Tuscany Tower when we're at the Pep and we've been going there for many years. The rooms are beautiful and the casino is huge. The pool is lovely but always packed with kids. They have an adult pool but it wasn't open last time we were there in May and wasn't open even before COVID hit. They have tons of VP, some of which are full pay but be careful. Most machines let you choose how much you want to wager up to 50 coins (I think) so don't hit max unless that's what you want to play. I don't know what you mean by sterile. The casino is always lively.

Restaurant selection is pretty good but we usually eat at Cafe Milano which is very good. The buffet is good too but has not reopened. Room comps are easy to come by but we NEVER get any resort credits. We do a generous amount of FP and they have frequent multiplier days.. Valet was not open the last time we were there. What else would you like to know?

My favorite is biscottis at Peppermill on the second floor. I have never gone outside to the pool but there is a good view of the pool outside from biscottis. It is usually full of people
Good vp at Peppermill and Atlantis. Peppermill has a row of machine across from slot club. Good pay schedule and royal pays $1199.

Be sure to check the weather forecast before you go. The wildfires near Reno are making the Reno and Lake Tahoe air very smoky.

We stayed in a suite in the Tuscany tower. It was very nice. Did not go to pool but saw a good many youngsters using it. I enjoyed the place. Table dealers learned my name quickly and drinks flowed.

My wife did have a hand pay early on and it helped pay for the room and extras on the rest of the trip. However, she found the slot selection boring. She still managed to play for four hours….

I would go back and she would be against it. It is our for now since SWA took away the nonstops.

I'm staying there for the first time in early September (in a Grand Suite in the original tower), very excited. One thing I noticed is that it has about a million different bars and lounges (I guess just the one lounge but definitely a ton of bars), which as someone who likes trying lots of different drinks I definitely plan to hit a lot of them up. If I understand correctly it's also within walking distance of Atlantis for even more stuff right?

If anyone's been there super recently and knows what the table limits have been like at Peppermill I'd love to hear it, especially for weekdays. I would love to find $5 craps/roulette especially, though I would be satisfied with $10 (hoping to avoid $15+).

In late May, they had $15 craps on a Friday afternoon and then $10 in the evening. 3:2 BJ was $10.

Wow, interesting that the minimum actually *dropped* later on a Friday night. That's definitely not what I'm used to from Atlantic City, haha. Thanks though!

It was a first for me. They did only have one table in the afternoon and three going at night.

If Bellagio and Caesars Palace had a baby and then gave it up for adoption, it would be Peppermill Reno. It's got the Italian mobster feel on the outside, but inside is a mix of random and unmemorable. Still, it's classier than Atlantis or half the downtown casinos, so it's up there in the Top 3.

I am a regular at the Peppermill. I think it's the best casino/hotel in Reno. Good sportsbook and they give $0.5 per $100 on comps. Bimini is the only restaurant I'd get 4/5+. The sportsbook deli and oceano constantly screw up take out orders check your orders carefully. Both are 3/5 for me. There are 2 coffee shops. I prefer Biscottis 3.5/5.0 near the Tuscany tower the other one always has lol lines.

I always get 3 free nights per month in a suite. The Tuscany tower is all suites with nicer finishes with views of the pool or mountains large tub in the bathroom but I prefer the Grand Suite in the Peppermill tower with large tub in room and a steam shower :)

Ruby river across the street is good food and P and J nearby (short car drive) has the best breakfast in town :)

Is two months ago super recent, or just regular recent?

I'm going to try to get a free Sunday night there in September through myKonami. According to the information on vpfree2, it seems like a great place to play a big variety of full pay video poker.
