1) they don't care about $30 table play on a game with so little house edge. I might se e a little something on my win-loss, but unless playing big, Cosmopolitan cares about slot and VP play.

2).class was excellent

4)I got a host by going to host on duty, asking opinions about my play. Took their advice, subsequent trip, went to host on duty, related the advice, and asked "am I host worthy?" She said yes.

it's great to sit out on the terrace, enjoying the view. I am always so determined to have a terrace, a view, etc. And then I don't use it enough. I doubt total terrace time exceeded 45 minutes this trip. Note to self,future trips, plan terrace time same as I plan activities.

I held my own playing yesterday. Sequence.. continued losses on slots, but offset by wins on craps. I have many thoughts on the new electronic craps table here... I hope it's not just an introductory thing that minimums are $10. In three days, my slot play numbers were about what I'd usually play in two.. so lower average.

I made Platinum Identity status yesterday. There was neither a thunderclap nor brass band fanfare. But I'm getting a ride to the airport today.... other than 3X points, guess I'll need to wait and see if other benefits.

So.. lower average, higher status... I should get an offer within two weeks... good indicator of status vs play: I'm anticipating that play matters most.

trivial yet vital concern.

I didn't break-in to the Wynn parting gift chocolates last night. Going to take home.
Squeezed into luggage, summer heat, 3 hour drive home upon arrival in CA... even with AC... am I going open a box of melted blobs of chocolate?

Never have I ever....

once again, couldn't bring myself to use the enormous soaking tub, waste the water. Would likely feel differently if I loved soaking in a tub.

Third stay in a one-bedroom with tub, never used.

Still never ordered room service in a LV hotel. I consider. My food is comped. But even so, the idea of ordering a light breakfast like coffee and yogurt, cereal, or pastries... for $40+ gets me. And not interested in eggs or hot food - longstanding belief that hot food is never really hot or exactly right from room service.

Last night, I came close to placing breakfast order. But tablet isn't working, I gave up.

I like that Momofuku is bright and open. Seated under windows.

 

Ginger Scallion Noodles. Not on menu, but I asked to add Bulgogi meat, because I loved the Bulgogi cheesesteak last time



Fantastic. They pickle the Shitake Mushrooms, I was asking about them, said I loved 'em.... the server offered to get me a box as a snack for the plane

Overall- excellent meal.

I had some service issues first visit to Momofuku, that they addressed at the time - excellently.

Two visits now, everything I've eaten has been great.

 

Maybe it's a Platinum thing - I doubt it.

Maybe their computer has a note about the service incident last visit. Maybe they just strive for excellent services

Server just brought me a little gift to eat on the plane... Chocolate B'Day Truffles from Milk. (Momofuku owns Milk... it's in adjacent space on second floor)

Really nice when service staff provide the little extras.

 

When you schedule your terrace use, then you can order room service in advance since it will be comped. It’s nice to eat, drink, and chill there. Love having some champagne, which you already have in the mini bar. Also, the congee is actually decent. Gives me comfort after a loss or a rough night. I LOVE soaking in the tub—I don’t do it at home, but will at a hotel. One of the reasons I use the spa too. Last time at Momofuku, I sat at the bar and food wasn’t very good. Prior three times, I was at a table and had really yummy food. So not sure why seating would make a difference or maybe cook just was having a bad day? Enjoy all your chocolate! Looks like our dates won’t align for the next few trips to Vegas, but we must schedule a time to eat!

 

This had been my experience every visit (3x) until my most recent in June. The staff had always gone above and beyond, providing all sorts of freebies and being super accommodating to special requests. I think that’s their MO and the bad/generic service encounters should be the outliers.

I felt like a VIP every time I left those first few visits, which made the blah service on the most recent one stand out. Which was a bit unfair, as I didn’t have any actual issues, It just didn’t feel right getting standard “take your order and bring the food” type service there.
